DEAR KAREEM: I’m In Love With My Best Friend!
Dear Kareem,
I have really fallen in love with my best friend. We have been friends for almost six years now, and I really don’t know how to let him know how I feel about him. We do everything together, and I want to see where we can go. We have been sexually active for the last three years and had a baby together, but never really committed to each other. He tells me that he loves me and doesn’t want to lose me, but there are times when I feel that he is just lying to me. We have had our share of fights because I’m younger than him, and other females tell him that he doesn’t need me and that he needs to get someone his own age. He is very jealous, and at the same time he tells me that I need to find someone that will satisfy my sexual needs. I really don’t know how to tell him that I want him and not everybody else that tries to talk to me. What should i do? I really need some advice.

That sounds like your sugardaddy/steady booty call knocked you up unexpectedly. He clearly does not want to be with you outside of a recreational Friday night “squeeze off.” As a grown man, he knows what he wants – and it doesn’t seem to be a significant relationship with you. If he is encouraging you to find someone your own age that satisfies your “needs”, you need to. Learn to love yourself.

I totally agree with Kareem, that’s no friendship. Homegirl doesn’t have a clue. How are you afraid to tell a guy you’re sleeping with AND have baby with that you are in love with him? Dear Kareem,
I have a man, I think he is my
man. A Year ago My so call man and my son got in a fight. Since this time, My man does not want my son to come around my house.He blames me for the fight because he said I should have kicked my son out. He started talking to me really bad and making statements about how me in my son is going together. Every day he nagged me about how my son is this and aint going to be any thing. My on was 18yrs and he was 35 yrs.Every time I expressed how degrading my son makes me feel, he would take it as a personal attack.He finally left me and said he was moving with his cousin,mean while, we were still seeing each other and talking about getting back together. We were together for seven years, so we thought lets give it another try. Next. I found out he was living with another women not a cousin. This was devastating. He continue running back and forth between me and this lady.I got fed up with the playing, I made a bad decision to get him back, make him feel the way i was feeling,so I slept with his cousin.This really hurt him and he set out with a vengence. Mean while we got back together,I thought we were going to put everything away and go on with are life.I found out six months later he got his sons mom PG. I was destroyed. I do not think we have any thing left. I am leaving my home and taking my family to another state. I can not bear the hurt I am feeling. I guess I deserved that for what I did. I am going some where make a fresh start. I hope he find happiness.I cannot deal with him being a happy papa. Also, there are alot of people involved who can get hurt. I know its time to let go no matter how much I hurt and believe me I do hurt. I still love him I always will love him.
