Love Isn’t Forever But A Tattoo Is
I received an e-mail from a dear reader (shout out to Jennifer) who brought it to my attention that MJB Jr. went and got a tattoo of her new beau’s name. In case you didn’t know Key-Key has been dating a NBA player. His name is Daniel Gibson and according to her tattoo, he’s “Truly Blessed”. Yup, that’s what the tattoo placed on the front side of her left shoulder reads: Truly Blessed D. Gibson.
As Neffe would say “Are You Serious?????”
What in the world is he doing that has her skipping to the tattoo parlor? They haven’t even been together a year.
In order for me to even think about putting someones name on my skin they’d better have saved my life. I’m talking blood transfusion, organ donation, bone marrow transplant. Either that or give me million and millions of dollars. Maybe then I’d get their name on my body but it’ll be in a place where no one, not even I, can see it like the sole of my foot or the under carry of my butt cheek.
For the record, I do not have any tattoos and seeing how Ms. The Way It Is chooses to showcase her love and beliefs by inking them on her skin, I’m very content with my decision. Ya’ll are bugging. I thought about getting my husbands name tatted on me, and now we are in the process of getting a divorce! I will still get a tattoo but something that symbolizes what we had and not the name.

lol…My sister has a guys name on her butt cheek and she’s not even with the dude anymore!…I was with her when she got it. When it was my turn to get inked….I took it as a sign when the tattoo artist talked me out of it. He told me that I’d regret it and he didn’t even know me!! The fact that he didn’t talk my sister out of getting hers, made me really think about what the hell I was about to do. Now…3 years later.. I am sooo happy that I listened to ole’ dude. When I broke-up with my Bf I didn’t want sh*t around that reminded me of him…especially a tatt of his punk a$$ name..lol. As for my sister…she’s stuck with “TYRONE!!!”

if i do get a tattoo with my man’s name than it has to be a mutual thing and it has to be in similar spots…cause if you can see my tattoo then you definitely will see his too!!

Ok i feel like this it’s her body so if she wants it then hey whatever, I wouldn’t have gotten it. At least she is doing better then her mama HOLLLAAAA!!!!
