GLAM OR GROSS? Sanaa’s Cocktail Dress

Yesterday, beautiful black celebrity women stepped out for the second annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon. While some celebs like Halle glammed it out proper and some like Laila Ali opted to dress down in jeans, others chose the middle ground by wearing little tea dresses like the one you see on Sanaa Lathan, above.
I’m feeling some kind of way about this dress. Maybe it’s the bow? Or maybe I just don’t think it flatters her figure too well. I can’t decide. What do you think?

First of all, I love Sanaa! She’s gorgeous inside and out. I think the dress looks great on her. It shows all of her curves which the dress was made to do. It’s beautiful!

Love her dress it seems to be have a middle eastern influence to it… Sanaa lathan is gorgeous. She reminds me of a younger version of Phylicia Rashad. Every time you see them both you think wow stunning…

I love her as an actress, i think she is a beautiful Black Woman. But……..sorry, the dress did not flatter her figure at all. The dress is pretty, just not on her. It did age her as well. Just not a good choice for her. JMO

I agree with with litebriteohio. It’s a pretty dress but if you put it on the wrong person it would look awful. She pulled it off though.

I like the dress… i think it ages her just a tad…then again, just how old IS she???? I keep making her be 22 or so *LOL* —she’s one of the prettiest people in Hollywood….just naturally pretty.
All in all, It’s a beautiful dress.

Folks…Sanaa can wear a paper bag and make it look sexy..lol I wonder if she’s still single this is one of my Christmas presents….complete with a bow right there…
