Chilli stars as Ty’s leading lady in the latest visuals off his current album Open Invitation!

Tyrese who’s been busy promoting his newly released album “Open Invitation” was rushed to the hospital last night for what is believed to be exhaustion. He later tweeted from his bed in the ER for his fans to pray for him. This is not the first time Tyrese was rushed to the hospital…two years ago he left someone an interesting voice mail saying that he was rushing himself to the hospital due to sharp pains in his head. He also requested that this particular voice mail not be leaked to the press, blogs etc and wanted the person to just pray for him.

Wonder if Tyrese had time to pack for his trip to the ER?

I’m guessing it can’t be that serious is he was tweeting from the ER! Wait,who has reception in the emergency room??? Are you even allowed to use your phone in the ER??

Tyrese should be celebrating the upcoming release of his highly anticipated album and return to music with Open Invitation but instead he is being banned from radio stations for sharing his opinion on zoning issues such as liquor establishments near schooling institutions. “For those folks who have read my book, my mother struggled with alcohol for 27 years by the grace of God my mother has been sober for 4 years from alcohol abuse is a very sensitive subject for me because it killed my childhood” says Tyrese. “Liquor Stores and the personalities that they attack should not be that close to innocent kids!”

This comes after Tyrese was kicked out a Delaware radio station for expressing his concern during an on-air interview. He was told to leave by the programming director who later demanded an apology after threatening to ban his music.

In an exclusive interview with HelloBeautiful, Tyrese got very personal on why his stance remains secure and why he will never apologize for simply saying something about a world-wide issue with which everyone should be concerned!

Taraji P. Henson and Tyrese are reuniting for another John Singleton film. The three first worked together a decade ago when the famous director put the two burgeoning talents in front of his camera to play couple Jody and Yvette in 2001′s “Baby Boy.”

Tyrese made the announcement via Twitter, saying:

“Official.. Me and my girl Taraji are doing another classic together soon.!! John Singleton will be directing us. And no it’s not BB2.”

The two recently starred in Tyrese’s video for “Stay,” too. Of their collaboration, he said:

“I love her [and] she loves me. She’s a beautiful person, very humble, funny as hell. Even though it’s been ten years [since 'Baby Boy'] you can’t really put a timeline between magic. I think she’s really special, beautiful and I was honored that she wanted to do my ‘Stay’ video”

Tyrese tried to do a good deed by bringing awareness to the school districts across America and it backfired when he was kicked out of a radio station for complaining about a liquor store being across the street from an elementary school. According to TMZ, the “Transformers” actor made an appearance at a radio station which was located ‘in the hood in Delaware’ and he went to the store to ask for gum, but all they had was rum.

He took a picture of the liquor filled shelves and also stated that his interview was erased so no one could hear him speak.

During his rant, Tyrese told the DJ, “Get them cats out of here … selling alcohol right across from your kids school, homie — put the pressure on them homie … you know how to put pressure on dudes selling in your hood.”

But when the show went to commercial, Tyrese was asked to leave the building — and the owner of the radio station confirms to TMZ that it was because he felt Tyrese was “disrespecting” the Delaware community.

There has to be more to this story, something’s just not right about this one!

Especially my mother.she told me that she did not want me in the beginning because my father used to beat her and to this day, at the age of 44 she still treats me bad. Once I finished high school, I went into the Army for 8 years and during the Desert Storm War, I found out that I was HIV positive.

Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson, his one-time onscreen girlfriend from “Baby Boy,” reunite for his latest video “Stay.” In the clip, Tyrese plays a boyfriend bogged down with work and Taraji his neglected woman. The final straw comes when he opts to go to a meeting instead of console her while upset.

She finally decides to pack her bags, but he catches her before she’s gone for good and attempts to make his last (and final) plea for her to “stay.” But will she?

The retro-inspired track is tinged with guitar-plucking, finger-snapping and old school “oohs” harmonizing in the background. We LOVE it.

It’s no secret that Tyrese loves the ladies. With his soulful singing voice and sexy music videos, it’s safe to label Tyrese as a “ladies man”. With the release of the behind the scenes footage of his new video, “I Got A Chick” many feel as thought he’s an advocate for fair skinned women since there was little or no portrayal of black women in the video.

I recently sat down for an exclusive interview with the leading lady of Tyrese’s new video, Connie, who ironically happens to be a black woman. You may remember Connie as Mz Berry from “For The Love Of Ray J” when she won Ray J’s love. Since her debut as a reality star, Connie has taken her career to a new level. During our chat, she defended Tyrese’s video explaining that not only is she featured in the video as a black woman but there are also two other black women in the video as well! She also went on to discuss her transition from a reality star to the person she is today, her friendship with Tyrese and keeping it classy!

HB: Let’s clear the air. You are in Tyrese’s new video, “I Got A Chick” and you are indeed a black woman. After the behind the scenes footage was released, we’ve heard a lot of criticism on the video from fans who’ve said that there were no dark skinned or black women in the video. How can you explain that? What is your take on the situation? What is really going on here?

Connie: I can’t really explain what other people are saying. Everybody has their own opinion and, honestly I’ll just say right off the bat that I haven’t read any blog sites or anything on this topic. A friend of mine actually texted me and told me she saw the behind the scenes footage of the video and said I looked very pretty in my little shot! (laughing) But then she said that she read on a website that there was backlash against Tyrese because there were no black girls in the video. I was shocked! First off, it’s inaccurate because I’m in the video and I’m a black woman! Also because, there are two other African American women in the video as well. I was thinking, “Wow, that is really sad”. There is one dark skinned girl, myself and another lighter skinner girl-but yes there are black girls in the video.

HB: I recently read somewhere that it wasn’t necessarily discrimination and not just about picking lighter skinned girls over darker skinned girls on purpose, but more so just about looking for the best girl. Is that something that you heard also?

Connie: No, I didn’t hear that. I haven’t read anything. I wanted to read what was being said on the sites and I wanted to see what his response was as well so I don’t want to quote anything because I haven’t heard it myself. I actually wanted to text or call him today and see what’s was going on! But knowing Tyrese… PLEASE! He loves women of all colors, shapes and sizes so I know that discriminating is not his thing. At the same time, this is a business and he always wants to put his best product forward. He’s a good friend of mine so I don’t know what the audition process was and how long it took. I’m sure it wasn’t long because from the time I saw him and was asked to do the video from the time it was shot was only a few days. I’m sure he just chose the best women who came out for the audition and according to what his vision was for the video.

HB: We’ve heard this “problem” come up a lot in the music industry concerning African American men only choosing light skinned girls or women who aren’t black for their music videos. Do you think it is indeed a trend?

Connie: Here’s what it is. You’re never going to be able to please everybody. Everyone is always going to have something to say and someone is always going to feel slighted one way or the other. Honestly, I don’t watch videos like that and I said that I wasn’t going to do videos but Tyrese is a good friend of mine and he told me to come and do it since it would be fun, so I decided to do it. But there are beautiful girls that are considered video models of all different sizes, colors and shades of black. I think it depends on the artist. There’s one video model that is gorgeous! She is dark skinned and she has a body on her and I know she gets a lot of videos. So it just depends on what you’re trying to do

HB: How was it working with Tyrese on this video?

Connie: Great! He is an amazing individual! I am so happy I’ve gotten to know him. He’s given me some great pointers on how to handle this business and how to step out and have faith in myself and take my career to the next level. The reality is- no pun intended- that I could have gotten lost in this reality thing and not done anything else. But I do have a play that I’m in which is coming out at the end of this month called a “Sauls Juke Joint”. I’m also in two other plays: one coming out in December and a comedy that I’m actually really excited about that comes out in January called “The Trip”. I’m continuing to work on my craft as an actress and of course with writing and everything else. Tyrese’s has also helped me out with my writing. He has great energy and is very positive. That was his other thing for the video: he wanted a positive environment with high energy and everything like that. When I heard all this, I wasn’t offended because I know people always have something to say and people always have their opinion. Basically it is what it is. But I found it interesting that when I was on “For The Love Of Ray J” and when I won that season, it was such a proud moment- I guess you could say- that a black woman won. I was black then! But now people see me in the video and they’re like “she’s not black!” so it’s like which one is it going to be? (laughing)

HB: How do u describe your transition from being a reality star from “For The Love of Ray J” to acting and writing? How did you do it?

Connie: It’s still hard! I’m still in the process of transitioning because people in this industry look at women on these reality shows as though we are not credible in the work that we do whether it be acting, modeling, singing whatever. It’s very difficult. You have to prove you are worthy because you’re not taken seriously at all on the career aspect. And then you have the men who just look at you and really only want sex thinking that you’re easy because you were on that reality show and that you must have only been on that reality show because you are a “groupie”. So it’s very difficult. I am about building relationships, which comes from me having a career in sales, and I think that will take me far in general. I am an attractive woman so they are going to think, “What is it going to take for me to get with her?” But at the end of the day, they have to respect me because I respect myself and they don’t have any other choice.

HB: Are you going to do any more videos besides “I Got A Chick?”

Connie: It’s so funny because someone on my Twitter just said “Oh, you’re a video vixen now?!” and that is so not the intention! It was really just the fact that Tyrese is a good friend of mine and the video came out of the blue. I told him if he needed me there, I would be there. I actually really wanted to do the video for his song, “Stay”. I loved that song when I first heard it! I said, “This song is absolutely beautiful!” I would love to be in that one but other than that, I don’t know. It’s fun but it would definitely have to be something very classy and something that works with my brand. I’m not about doing the crazy stuff! I know in some of the behind the scenes footage from Tyrese’s video, you’ll see some of the girls getting a little crazy but that is a whole different thing! I had my shots by myself and I will say to his credit that he stuck with who Connie really is. So yes, to answer that question, I would love to do the video for his next single, “Stay” if the offer presents itself with something classy and something I can feel proud of then that’s cool. My aunt sent me a text that said “Hey, I saw the behind the scenes footage. Very classy and let’s keep it that way!” That’s just what it is. I’m not a 22-year-old girl anymore so I can’t do those kinds of things! I take care of my body and myself but that crazy stuff is just not for me!

HB: You definitely set the record straight! Tyrese loves all women! He doesn’t discriminate, and for everyone that said there were no black women in the video, Connie has explained that there are actually three black women in the video including herself! You kept it classy in the video, and we can’t wait to see the finished product! Do you have anything else you want to set straight before we go?

Connie: I definitely want to say thank u to everybody who has supported me from day one. I’m not finished yet and there is so much more coming from me! I’m working on perfecting my craft as an actress and taking that very seriously. As I mentioned earlier, I will be in a play opening up on August 27 called “Saul’s Juke Joint”. Earlier this week, rumors broke that Tyrese was secretly dating Whitney Houston. The “National Enquirer” reported that Tyrese and Whitney met during the Grammys and Whitney asked him out on a date after that. As bizarre as that may sound, let’s not forget a few years ago when Whitney was allegedly dating Ray J. With that being said, this rumor doesn’t seem too far fetched- at least not to me anyway.

Tyrese took to Twitter to respond to the rumors, tweeting: “Negative blogs, press, blurbs, people spreading negative things. Rumors. I rest WELL at night cause none of these things matter anymore.Man if ya’ll don’t GTFOH with this dumb s**t.. Hahahahahaahahaa… #NEVER… I repeat.. NEVER..!!”

Whitney’s 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, definitely wasn’t going to allow Tyrese to talk about her mama without saying something. She took to her own Twitter page to address Tyrese’s comments and tweeted: “Lmao @ @Tyrese . . Damn it’s like that?! Hah well to clear it up, TRUST ME, MY MOM WOULD NEVER. Hah #shesroyalty. Wouldn’t want em, noworries:)”

As random as this “twitter beef” is, this whole thing definitely dismissed any indication that the two could possibly be dating!

“On this day, we as fathers are celebrated around the world…

I am more than just a man.. I am a father.
A boy is excited about the opportunity to be a dad.
A father is more focused on the “Responsibility” of being a father.

As a father it is a responsibility to create the standards in our kids’ lives, I am not just semen. I love you, and you love me and in our family we created “we” in our children…

As a father, sometimes I have to be away. I am constantly in the field hunting for my family’s survival.

Tyrese and Jamie Foxx both performed at last night’s Mosley vs. Pacquaio fight in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Tyrese sang the National Anthem while Jamie Foxx belted out “America the Beautful”. In case you missed it, the fight ended with Pacquaio as the winner after beating on Sugar Shane Mosley for 12 rounds.

With the release of his first book, “How to Get out Your Own Way”, Tyrese is doing a book tour for his fans and stopping in different cities across the country. He stopped in Arkansas a few weeks ago and spoke with the folks over at Wild Moguls Network to talk about some of the advice he has for youth who wish to follow in his footsteps, giving motivational tips for success and empowerment.

His humbleness is absolutely amazing and it seems that he really cares about getting the message out there to the public rather than how much the book sells and making money. He even stated at a recent book signing, “Whoever doesn’t have enough money to buy the book, I’ll buy it for you, I just want the message out there so bad.” Wow, thats humbling! Tyrese Gibson made an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” to promote his new book How To Get Out Of Your Own Way.Wendy asked Tyrese why do men cheat, and let’s just say Tyrese did not hold anything back when he said men are expected to cheat, which of course sent Wendy over the edge.

Singer, actor and now author, Tyrese Gibson, caught up with the editors of JET magazine recently where he discussed topics like his upcoming roles in Fast Five (a part of the Fast and the Furious series) and another Transformers movie which are both scheduled to hit theaters this summer. Tyrese also spoke about his new album which is set to his stores this year and even his first book, “How to Get Out of Your Own Way”, which is set to hit bookstores this April. Looks like Tyrese has been pretty busy lately!

The 32-year old also had time to do a full length interview and although all of the Q&A session did not make the magazine, we’ve got the scoop on the interview outtakes below.

When asked why he tweets about God so much: “It’s overwhelming. I’ve actually had people to say, ‘Man this dude talk about God so much, I’m-a unfollow.’ He don’t supposed to follow me. If you don’t want me talking about God, this is my Twitter page, it’s my timeline, I can shout out the man, I can shout out my source as much as I want to. Period. And at the end of the day, I feel like so many people are inspired and motivated by my story and my career and whatever else, I’m giving people an understanding that I didn’t make it this far in my life on talent alone. I’m a thinking man. I’m a God-fearing man. I recognize that God has blessed me and ordered my footsteps, but I’m also saying to everybody, “I’m doing the work.” Like, ain’t nobody given me nothing. Period. And so, I look at Twitter as me saying Thank you to all of my fans.”

When asked why he doesn’t edit himself on Twitter: “It’s not something that I purposely do. It’s not coming from a space of rebellion. I just really want people to know some of the things I know. I’ve had people say, ‘I was a big fan of yours, but me loving you just went to a whole other level because of the things that you write and the things that you speak.’ And so, unfortunately this is a town and Hollywood in particular, where people can fall in love with who you appear to be, the surface, right? But then when they get off camera, there’s somebody completely the opposite.”

When asked how he stays hungry: “I live my life by these words: ‘You can’t get points today for yesterday’s game.’ You won MVP last week, OK, get over it. It’s like, there’s another level to this thing and people like Will Smith and Denzel and Rev Run and … and like I got a few billion-dollar friends and multi-billion friends … these people have really messed up from showing me this life and lifestyle because I know that there’s a-whole-nother level of playing field out there that I can get to. Now, people get complacent – and I know if you leave this in there, it’s just gonna shake people up – people stop being inspired when they have more than all of their friends. If you do that, then you lose your motivation, because you the highest dude on your playing field.

Tyrese has had it with all the media whores. He took to his Twitter account to express his feelings on the recent uprise in fake celebrity couples.And we see where he’s coming from. From Kanye and Selita Ebanks to Kanye and Kim Kardashian, from Amber Rose and Fabolous to Amber Rose and Reggie Bush, it’s hard to tell what relationships are real and which are made for the public eye.

Here’s what Tyrese had to say:

“If you try and build, develop, and mold your relationship on a PUBLIC STAGE… You will welcome the spirit of opinion and it could KILL it. Love is beautiful when it’s defined and nurtured ALONE… Then when you GO PUBLIC.. What you have built PRIVATELY can’t be AFFECTED!!

Media whores become desperate for PUBLIC APPROVAL.. People with class and tact fall back and DISCOVER .. Love is beautiful when it’s real.
