Nick Cannon said recently: “I’m very ready for fatherhood, I gotta be.” He told website Hollyscoop: “I haven’t even told my mama yet.” The proud dad promised Mariah to cut back on his workload once the babies arrive!! Awww.

The babies are a few weeks old already, but we’re just hearing about this now! Comedienne Wanda Sykes and wife Alex welcomed twins into their happy home on April 27. Says US Magazine,

Alex gave birth to the couple’s first children, daughter Olivia Lou and son Lucas Claude. Olivia weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 19 inches long. Lucas was born at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and was an inch taller than his sister.

Apparently the whole “pregnant man” phenomenon didn’t stop at Thomas Beatie! Transsexual Ruben Noe Coronado, who was born as “Stephanie” but kept his female internal organs despite undergoing a sex change, is the world’s second pregnant “man” – and he’s carrying twins!

Says the UK’s Daily Mail,

Transexual Ruben Noe Coronado, 25, is due to become a dad at the end of September.

Ruben, born a woman called Stephanie, will bring the boys up with partner Esperanza Ruiz, 43.

The pair plan to marry before they become parents.

Bearded American Thomas Beattie made headlines round the world after giving birth to daughter Susan Juliette last June.

The 35-year-old, born Tracy Lagondino, is expecting a second child with wife Nancy this summer.

Like Beattie, Ruben is officially a man but retained his female reproductive organs.

When doctors told girlfriend Esperanza, already a mother of two, that she could not have any more children, she and Ruben decided he should try to become pregnant with donor sperm after undergoing fertility treatment.

He plans to give birth at a hospital in Barcelona, where the couple recently moved from Malaga due to family problems.

Once he becomes a dad he will continue sex change surgery interrupted to enable him to fall pregnant and give birth.

He is the first Spanish transexual to do so and it is thought he will become the world’s first transexual father of twins if everything goes to plan.

You know how they say the pill is only 99.9% effective? Well, here’s proof that that .1% really and truly DOES exist. Carly O’Brien, of the United Kingdom, didn’t beat the odds just once, but TWICE – and just gave birth to her second set of twins, all while being on the pill.

Says Daily Mail,

The 22-year-old and her partner John Grant, 28, were amazed when she gave birth to her first set of twins Brandon and Daisy.

Now, two years on, Carly has stunned experts by giving birth to another miracle set of twins – Dylan and Lilly.

Carly said: ‘It’s amazing that Brandon and Daisy were born in October 2006, when I was on the pill, and now Lilly and Dylan are here too.

‘Everyone I’ve spoken to, all my friends and family and even the staff at the hospital, say they have never known anything like it.

‘It was a massive shock, but we’re delighted of course, as we now have four beautiful healthy children aged less than three.’

Carly, from Portsmouth, Hants, had been using the contraceptive pill since she was 17 and never imagined she could get pregnant while using it.

She and John, who installs air conditioning units, had been together for only a year and having children had not crossed their minds.

But when Carly missed a period and started being sick, she may be pregnant.

A pregnancy test confirmed it but it wasn’t until her 12 week scan she discovered she was carrying twins.
