Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall Out Of “The Game”

It’s game over for Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall. According to our friends over at hiphollywood.com,Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall will NOT return to BET’s highest rated show, The Game.

It will be interesting to see how the show moves forward from here because their characters Derwin and Melanie are central to The Game’s plot.

Their source also added that both are very busy right now, Hall is working on another project, while Mowry is still filming her Style network reality show.

Tamera Mowry-Housley announced her pregnancy yesterday and today we’re treated to a picture of her baby bump. Tamera’s twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict tweeted the pic and wrote:

”Guess who has first belly shot of @TameraMowryTwo! yay!! This is the hardest secret I have had to keep! But it’s out!!!!! I am gonna be an auntie!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Cree is gonna have a cousin!”

Is Derwin Upset That Janay Has A New Man? "The Game"

“The Game” is heating up! Just when we thought Derwin, Melanie and Janay were one big happy yet dysfunctional family, a monkey wrench, better known as Noah, is thrown into the equation to make things even more complicated. Melanie is still suffering from a “lack of friends” and is clinging on to anyone who will give her the time of day, which in this case is Janay. The two “bond” in the sky box at one of Derwin’s football games, when Melanie asks Janay if she has spinach in her teeth and Janay tells her she does. Melanie sees this as a sign of friendship, and clings to Janay’s side throughout the rest of the game. When Janay’s “friend” Noah shows up to the game, Melanie insists on inviting Janay and her new “friend” over to her house for dinner and drinks.

During dinner, things are a little awkward between Janay, Melanie, Derwin and Noah at first, but eventually they seem to all be getting along great. After informing everyone that her shoes were YSL and making sure that Janay noticed, Janay pulls Melanie to the side to tell her a secret. She drops the bomb on Melanie that she and Noah have been dating for a while now, and they are actually engaged! Melanie is overly excited (I guess because now Derwin’s baby mama finally has a man of her own) which surprises Janay because they’ve never shared a moment like this before. Janay tells Melanie that she wants to be the one to tell Derwin, so she asks her to keep it a secret. She also asks Melanie to push Derwin to Team Janay & Noah, in case after the dinner ends Derwin doesn’t like him too much. Melanie promises to help Janay, and for a second it looks like these two are actually friends.

After dinner ends and Noah and Janay leave, Derwin reveals that he thinks Noah is a jacka** and doesn’t like him at all. Melanie is taken aback by Derwin’s reaction to Noah, and wonders if he’s acting like that because he doesn’t want to see Janay with another man other than himself. Later that night, Melanie asks Derwin to have a truth moment, because they’ve promised each other that they will never go to bed holding secrets from one another. Derwin shuts Mel’s idea down and Melanie asks him if he doesn’t like Noah because of Janay. Derwin still doesn’t give Melanie a straight answer so Melanie decides to tell him Janay’s secret: that she and Noah are engaged. The look on Derwin’s face? Priceless.

Tia & Tamera Mowry attended the People’s Choice Awards last night where the two were nominated for Favorite TV Celebreality Star but lost to Kim Kardashian. Despite their loss, the ladies looked lovely arriving on the red carpet.

Tia wore a floor-length silver satin dress, with ruffles and waist ruching, while Tamera wore a black cocktail dress with puffed cap sleeves and sheer lace details.

Tia Mowry, like many mothers, was determined to lose the baby weight she gained during her pregnancy. But, like many of us, she wasn’t able to do so without a few troubles.

She told On The Red Carpet:

On losing the baby weight:
“It was a struggle, it was hard. I definitely focused on what I ate. A lot of people are like, ‘Oh my gosh, how did you do it?’ Everyone knows that I had a cesarean, and when you have a cesarean, you can’t work out a lot until like eight weeks, nine weeks afterwards. So what I did focus on was eating healthy – I stayed away from sugar, I stayed away from carbs, and I just ate like protein and veggies and I would do a lot of walking.”

On her son:
“I love my son, I’m kind of obsessed. I have a little bit of separation anxiety. He sleeps in his crib and then he’ll wake up around 4:30 to 5 in the morning, and I’ll kind of put him in our bed.”

Welcoming Baby Cree Into The World! "Tia & Tamera Show Finale"

I hope you had your box of tissues handy for last night’s episode of “Tia and Tamera” on the Style Network. If you’ve been keeping up with our favorite Hollywood twins all season long, you’ve been taken on a behind the scenes look into Tamera’s wedding and Tia’s pregnancy. On last night’s finale episode, we were finally introduced to Tia and Corey’s newborn son, Cree.

We also see Tia bring baby Cree home for the first time and give an emotional interview about her newborn baby. This episode was so emotional and touching and we really got to see how special Tia and Corey’s relationship with each other really is, and how excited they are about being parents for the very first time. We also see Tia and Corey’s transition from LA to Atlanta so Tia can begin filming the next season of “The Game”. I wonder how smooth their transition will be now that they have baby Cree with them?

If you didn’t love Tia and Tamera before, I’m sure you’re overly OBSESSED with them now! They are the epitome of how love and family life SHOULD be portrayed in black Hollywood! Love them!

I come across several articles daily. Some seem like a basket of nonsense with a side of ridiculous, so I don’t even bother posting them. This week I saw an abundance of articles that had no validation or credible sources but they were interesting and entertaining for that matter. I also saw articles with no substance or mainstream appeal but who am I to judge?

Let’s take a look at some of them!

Tia Mowry allegedly had a booty boost or maybe it was just baby fat that landed in all the right places. MTO reported the rumor after photos of Tia hit the net sporting a more buxom bottom.

“A Girl Bleaches Her Face And Documents The Transformation On Facebook”

A dark skin woman documented her face bleaching transformation on Facebook with pictures showing her before and after. The woman’s slight difference wasn’t worth the hassle!

“Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj have a sex tape”

According to MTO, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj have a sex tape being shopped around by some guys who used to work with Wayne. The tape is said to be old. For some reason “I don’t believe you you need more people.”

“Drake Has A Coke Habit”

Drake got caught sitting beside a line of white powder that appeared to be an illegal substance. The thing is, we don’t know what it is or if it was even Drake because the photo is cropped!

Tia Mowry is on a roll this year, she recently gave birth to her first child Cree Taylor Hardict and returned to TV with a hit show, “Tia & Tamera” on the Style network. Tia recently sat down with our sister site The Urban Daily and dished on her relationship with newlywed sister Tamera Mowry-Housley, how she’s adjusting to being a working mother and how she’s bringing the sexy back into marriage after giving birth:

How do you guys balance your connection as twin sisters while maintaining your separate lives?

It’s challenging and I think the reason why we remain so close because we keep it a priority. Whenever you keep a priority you definitely make time for it. But there are some sacrifices like I would want my sister to be around more for me while I’m in Atlanta. But she’s a newlywed. It would be selfish of me to ask her to stay with me for two to three weeks while I’m in Atlanta working. She has to spend some time with her husband. She’s not going to be a newlywed forever. she really has to live and play out that role as a new wife and vice versa. I’m sure she would want me to partake in many of the dinners that she has with her new husband. An example is she surprised Adam (Tamera’s husband ) with a birthday party. Unfortunately, Cory and I couldn’t make it because we had to watch the baby. The baby is still breast feeding and he’s still young and can’t go out at night. So she has to understand why we couldn’t be there. But as long as we communicate with each other and don’t take things personal, I think we’ll be cool.

I know you filmed the show while you were pregnant. When women are pregnant they go through mood swings where sometimes you’re happy and other times you’re not. How was it shooting a reality show while being pregnant?

Oh, gosh. [laughs] I was hesitant about doing it because I knew that I was going to see myself in a vulnerable place. I’m still seeing myself in a vulnerable place. As of my weight, I’m the biggest I’ve ever been and I was the biggest I’ve ever been on television. It’s hard seeing yourself like that. I had to remind myself that I did all of this for my son and I have plenty of time to get the weight off. And I will get this weight off of me because I’m working with my fabulous trainer. It was difficult seeing myself pregnant, but at the same time, I’m happy that I did it because my son will have some documentation of his mom. I miss being pregnant. I really do. It’s a wonderful experience.

The Cutest Moments From Last Night's "Tia & Tamera"

Last night was the second episode of the new reality show, from Tia and Tamera. I fall even more in love with these girls each time I watch their show! The best part about it is that I have heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone who has watched it! It’s so great to see a positive portrayal of black women in the media!

On this episode, Tamera continued to plan her stressful wedding after finding out that she was $30,000 over budget! In order to take some of the stress off of her, her and her closest girlfriends headed to Santa Barbara to celebrate Tamera’s bachelorette weekend. Tia had a hard time deciding to go and celebrate Tamera’s bachelorette weekend due to the fact that she was eight months pregnant and didn’t want to be around a bunch of drinking and partying girls but she didn’t want to let her sister down so she decided to go along anyway and limit herself. Tia surprised Tamera with a stripper even though Tamera said she didn’t want one, which led Tamera to break down into tears! The girls then headed out to the club to let loose! Tia began weighing her birthing options and juggled between hiring an OBGYN or a mid-wife. She wanted the flexibility to give birth in her own home and in different positions but she also wanted the option to be able to use drugs if the pain got too bad!

Here are some of the top moments from last night’s episode!

1. Tia’s ultrasound. I know, ultrasounds are a normal part of the whole pregnancy process, but it was just so cute to see how excited Tia was to see her baby! It was also cute to see Tamera’s reaction to Tia’s ultrasound also. The girls looked as though they were about to cry once the baby was visible on the screen. It was also so cute when Tamera started talking to Tia’s stomach and it looked as if the baby turned to look at Tamera through Tia’s stomach! Super cute! I think it’s great that Tia allowed cameras to share that experience with her!

2. Tia going to Tamera’s bachelorette weekend even though she was eight months pregnant. Let’s be honest. We’ve all dogged out that pregnant lady in the club at least once before! But despite the fact that Tia was eight months pregnant, she still made an effort to support her sister, Tamera, during her bachelorette weekend. I think that moment just showed how strong their twin bond really is and that they can’t do anything without each other!

3. Tamera crying. Okay, I think Tamera might have cried about five or six times during this episode. Between planning her dream wedding, her bachelorette weekend and being completely overwhelmed with stress, the girl just couldn’t keep her tears in! I’m sure planning a wedding is super stressful and Tamera definitely doesn’t make it look any easier. But I thought it was so sweet how all of her friends were extremely understand over her wedding obesssion and seemed to really have her back during it all!

Our favorite identical twins, Tia and Tamera, have returned to the small screen with their new reality series, “Tia and Tamera Take 2″. Per usual, I had to tune in simply because I am absolutely obsessed with reality shows and even more obsessed with Tia and Tamera! The show premiered on the “Style” network and showcased Tia’s difficult pregnancy, sibling rivalry and followed Tamera as she planned her wedding.

Tia and Tamera’s show definitely seems like it will be a success! They’ve managed to keep their fan base strong from their days on “Sister Sister” till now. Everybody seems to LOVE them both, which gives us all the more reasons to love last night’s episode!

1. The family drama: it’s obvious that Tia and Tamera adore each other, after all, they are sisters! On this episode, the twins had a little altercation as Tamera was in the process of planning her wedding and found that Tia couldn’t be there like she should because of her pregnancy and her commitments to the television show, “The Game”. To Tia’s surprise, Tamera chooses her best-friend to be her maid-of-honor in the wedding instead of Tia which really upsets her. It’s good to see the realness of their relationship!

2. The realness of the show: not only are cameras following Tamera’s wedding, they are also following Tia as she struggles to balance married life, her pregnancy and her career on “The Game”. On this episode, cameras followed Tia as she did a photo shoot with Hosea Chanchez from “The Game” and also showcased her surprise when she found out that she only had a few weeks to get back in shape after she had her baby to prepare for the next season of “The Game”!

3. Tamera’s reaction to the racial blog posts and her engagement pictures being leaked: she definitely kept it positive! Despite the backlash she received on the internet from people going off about her decision to marry a white man, she kept her cool and stood true to herself.

Tia Mowry delivered her baby boy last week, making she and hubby Cory Hardrict first-time parents. But that doesn’t mean her new experience is any less note-worthy. In fact, Tia Mowry has already landed a book deal about parenting.

Her first book is called “Oh, Baby!”

Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict welcomed their baby boy earlier this week. And as promised, Tia gave her 8-pound newborn son a name beginning with a “C” to honor her husband.

The couple named their son Cree Taylor Hardrict, according to Us Weekly.

“I never knew how much love I could feel for someone,” Mowry said. Hardrict added, “We both have tears of joy!”

Mowry’s first-time pregnancy will be documented on “Tia and Tamera,” a docu-series costarring her twin sister. It will in August on the STYLE Network.

Tia Mowry gave birth to a baby boy earlier today! It is the first child for her and her husband of two years, Cory Hardrict.

During her pregnancy, Tia revealed that Hardict was pampering so much her doctor argued against it. “He cooks for me every day. My doctor said I’m gaining too much weight, but Cory says, ‘It’s for the baby!’ It’s really sweet,” Tia told Us Weekly.

Add Tia Mowry to the growing list of celebs who have showed off their pregnant bellies in the nude. Tia says she’s embracing the sexuality of the pregnancy. “I know that there are people out there who say that there is nothing sexy about being pregnant. Then there are some people who embrace the sexuality. I feel empowered; I feel sexy.”

Tia tells PEOPLE magazine she was inspired to pose for the photo by her mother who regrets not having taken such a shot herself.

The actress, who’s expecting a baby boy on July 3, says she is nervous and having trouble sleeping.”I have sciatica so I’ve gotten those pregnancy pillows. That doesn’t seem to be working for me….They say that the baby should kick 10 times every two hours. I’m obsessed with counting how many times the baby’s kicking. So around one o’clock in the morning I’m counting in my head, not sleeping!”

Tia’s pregnancy will be documented when she and twin sister Tamera returns with their new reality show, Tia & Tamera Take 2, on the Style Network. The show will also show Tamera as she prepares to get married.

Pregnant mother-to-be Tia Mowry and her twin sister Tamera Mowry recently dropped some hints as to what Tia and husband Cory Hardict’s baby’s name will be. The YBF caught up with the ladies at Essence’s Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon and here’s what they had to say:

Tamera: I found out one of the names. My sister has a few names picked out…so cute. I can’t wait to meet him. She sends me little pictures of him, the ultrasound – oh my gosh – and the way they have the 3D ultrasound it feels like you’re right there. And he looks just gorgeous already. I can’t wait. I can’t [tell you the name], she’ll kill me. Oh! It’ll start with a “C,” because she’s keeping the tradition to keep the husbands name.

Tia: We’ve chosen several names but were not sure which one just yet. We are keeping it in the “C” family because my husband’s name is Cory and it’s a boy. Plus, my family did that as well – my name is Tia, my dad’s name is Timothy. I like it, it brings meaning to the name.

“Tia and I are very excited to be bringing life into this world,” Cory says. “Just thinking about my child coming here brings a tear to my eyes and I will try to be the best father in the universe!”

The 31-year-old actress revealed that she and Cory have been waiting for this for a long time. Sweet!

Now that “The Game” is officially returning to television, promo pictures for the new season have surfaced. The last time we saw a new episode of “The Game” was May 2009. After being canceled by the CW, BET struck a deal with parent company CBS to begin filming new episodes.
