After seven years modeling for Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, Jessica White is arguably the most successful black model in the magazine’s history. With the latest edition out this week, White spoke with Bossip about her career and to kill certain rumors.

ON “INCRIMINATING” PHOTOS & BLOGS:
“I shouldn’t read the blogs but I do. I read the comments. It’s never what the journalists say; it’s the people. I’m concerned about the people and how they view things. You have to understand you’re on a fashion shoot in these countries working long hours and you’ve been up since 3 am to catch the sunlight. You tend to do silly things on set to have fun and keep spirits light. It’s harmless.”

ON BEING THE LEAD IN TREY SONGZ’ “NEIGHBORS” VIDEO:
“The video is gonna be hot, really beautifully done. It’s art, it really is, a video based on art between a man and a woman.”

ON NE-YO:
“We’re friends, nothing more, nothing less. We went to the Grammy’s because he was nominated and I came as his date to support as a friend. People tend to think just because you were seen with someone of the opposite sex, you’re dating them.”

ON MAINTAINING A FRIENDSHIP WITH TERRELL OWENS AFTER DATING
“I was disappointed by it obviously, because it wasn’t supposed to be that way. I expressed that to Terrell and I’m still friends with Terrell, very good friends with him. He knows it and I’ve never been quiet about it. It was to make him to look cool. It was his show, okay, so whatever. At the same time I think he should have been a little bit more concerned that there was another person involved.”

ON HER CHARITY, Angel Wings Foundation:
“I’ve overcome a lot, I started my foundation, Angel Wings Foundation, which will house 40 women admitted on a case-by-case basis. We’re starting in my hometown of Buffalo. It’s filled with women who have been abused, women involved in domestic violence relationships, even women who caused abuse on themselves. These are things I can relate to because I’ve gone through so many things in my life, even at 25. I wanted to be hands on and physically help women because we are the future. I was a victim of sexual victimization. I was a young kid and I watched my sisters, both of them were in abusive relationships and when I was a kid watching that really affected me.”

Jay-Z went on Hot 97’s Angie Martinez radio show to officially address rumors that he is a member of the super-secret Illuminati, and a “devil worshiper.”

He definitely did tackle the rumors head on, instead of dancing around the issues like these celebrities so often do. He also spoke candidly about his views on other religions (which he doesn’t believe in). Check out his  interesting perspective below:

“I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”

I can’t even get in a golf club in Palm Springs. I’m from Marcy Projects. Just think about that? People that control the world?

Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?

I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don’t if there is a devil worshipping sect. That’s a little Tom hanks. I believe there are cliques of people that control the world…but that’s just natural process. I’m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it…

So you don’t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?

I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. Maybe I’ll push your buttons but you know…

So, Fantasia felt the need to shoot down some rumors on “106 & Park” and provide the truth. But she didn’t touch on the one we really want to know about: Did she or did she not steal a married man and then get dumped by him?

And she wore an awfully convenient shirt – covering up that tat, Tasia?

She also spoke on her forthcoming reality show, ‘Fantasia For Real,’ set to premiere January 11.

“I felt like everybody was allowed to sit back and watch that stuff, and I’ve always been an open book ever since I was on ‘Idol. I’ve always given the real me. But I kind of wanted everyone to hear it from the horse’s mouth, how things kind of went down, what the truth is, and kind of watch me as I rebuild my dynasty and kind of grow up from some of the things that were hindering me.”

Will & Jada To Divorce After 12 years of marriage, one of Black Hollywood’s favorite couples is still together. The rumor of them having an “open relationship” may be true, and so may be the rumor that they practice Scientology…but this one was just plain wrong.

MAY 13
Tiny & T.I. To Marry This Weekend Thirteen days after we posted this, T.I. entered jail and no ceremony had taken place. It’s been seven months since then, and now the word is that they’ll have their “fairytale wedding” upon his release. Guess we’ll wait and see…

JULY 31
Ciara & 50 Cent To Go Public All we’ve seen these two do together is appear in the video (and on stage) for “Can’t Leave Him Alone.” And once that song had it’s run on radio and television, we never saw them again…at least not displaying any PDA. Who do they think they are? Bey & Jay?

AUGUST 6
Soulja Boy Knocks Up Lola Luv Ummm, no, he didn’t. How Soulja Boy, of all people, gets linked to some of the hottest video girls in the game today is a mystery to us, but he should be thanking his lucky stars.

SEPTEMBER 1
Halle Berry Is Pregnant And then she walked onto “The Jay Leno Show” wearing a sexy, form-fitting dress made for a girl in her 20’s (and looking way better while doing so!). She silenced us all, without having to say a word.

OCTOBER 9
Mariah Is Pregnant! Two months later, she’s still prancing around in bikini’s and mini-skirts in music videos and during television appearances, and there’s no baby bump in sight.

DECEMBER 1
Breezy Accuses RiRi Of Cheating With Drake In Song Had we listened to Chris Brown’s song, “Famous Girl,” in it’s entirety, we would’ve discovered that in his lyrics, he wasn’t exactly making false accusations towards his ex-girl. Actually, he was being quite clever, playing off popular songs (in quotes) and their artists (in bold).

UPDATE: I recently showed you about the photo of Drake allegedly being “serviced” by one of his boys.

According to inside source at sandrarose.com, Drake is really tight with his 3 member entourage that’s comprised of two white guys and a Filipino. He spends all of his time at home and on the road with his boys. One of the guys in Drake’s entourage – a dude nicknamed “Forty” or “40″ – is alleged to be Drake’s undercover lover.

The jury is still out on this one…

It’s pretty funny when people try to be famous, then end up calling the Waaaaaambulance when people start saying bad things about them. You sign on to this! It sucks, but rumors are what keep the media rolling, so you’re either in or you’re out, unfortunately. However, according to Global Grind, Kanye West ex and sometime model Amber Rose has been seeking some advice and a shoulder from Russell Simmons, because she’s apparently really feeling banged up about the fact that all the funky rumors about her are hurting her budding career. Says the site,

Russell’s been speaking with Amber Rose over the past few days giving her guidance and support…he says that he most inspired by quote that she gave and he wants repeated: THAT CELEBRITY IS A GIFT OR A CURSE!

One of the things that she keeps saying is that she wants to use her celebrity to benefit others…for that inspiration alone keeps Uncle Russ working. This morning he got a call from a troubled Amber, because she was concerned about the rumors that are flying around about her and Cassidy. She has dreams and aspirations that she doesn’t want ruined by innuendo and games played by others. So, one thing she wants to make clear, that Russ believes is true, that she does not know Cassidy…especially since Cassidy has already come out publicly and admitted to not knowing her. Sad. The funny thing is, Amber’s really never done anything to anybody. She’s getting a bunch of flak simply by way of existing. But that’s how it works in media sometimes. Does anyone even know what her voice sounds like? Does she speak? Sucks that you’re getting stomped on, dude!

A new book is claiming that Barack and Michelle Obama were on the rocks before the historical election, and everyone’s up in arms about people “slandering” our President and First Lady. According to the NY Daily News,

In the new book “Renegade,” about Obama’s barrier-breaking run for the presidency, author Richard Wolffe recounts a stretch in 2000 when the Obama’s marriage was a lot frostier than it appears today.

“There was little conversation and even less romance,” Wolffe, who covered Obama’s campaign for Newsweek magazine, wrote of that period. “She was angry at his selfishness and careerism; he thought she was cold and ungrateful.”

At the time, Obama was a young state senator who had decided to run a Democratic primary against incumbent Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Chicago) – a contest Obama lost by a dismal 2-1 margin. Michelle was a new mom with two-year-old Malia at home and Sasha, born in June 2001, not far off.

“She hated the failed race for Congress in 2000, and their marriage was strained by the time their youngest daughter, Sasha, was born,” Wolffe wrote. “Politics seemed like a waste of time to Michelle.”

Here’s my question: Why should the media be expected to leave out stories like this, just because they involve our President and First Lady? One could take it to be a slanderous news item, but others could see it the way I see it – Barack and Michelle aren’t perfect. In fact, the trials and tribulations of their coupledom are just like the trials and tribulations of ours. Know why? Cause they’re effing human. And the fact that they had this alleged relationship rift 9 years ago and were able to get through it to become what they are today is more beautiful than the cookie cutter love the newspapers want to make their marriage out to be. If anything, it makes them more normal than they’ve ever been, and while it might be a tough sell to say that it means you and your man might eventually become a power couple like the Obamas, at least it gives you hope that your problems are shared by one of the most successful couples on the planet…and that you’ll get through them, eventually. Just like they did.

So I’m posting this “rumor” for all to see, and I want to know everything you readers have to say about it. Let me have it. Cause I ain’t budging.

We all heard the rumors about the sex tape that supposedly broke up Kelis and Nas’ marriage, well it seems that it’s not Kelis on the tape after all and she’s trying to clear her name.

According to egyptsaidso.com, Kelis’ publicist Tracy Nguyen, the woman on the tape is NOT Kelis and all claims and rumors supporting that are false!

Kelis gets a baby shower.

“Kelis is VERY pregnant and going through enough, the sex tape rumors are false and her lawyers are preparing to file a defamation suit now that we’ve tracked down the guy”

We hope this means that the couple will get back together.
