“Mission Impossible — Ghost Protocol” actress Paula Patton and her singer hubby Robin Thicke are tax deadbeats who are facing a huge tax bill after failing to hand over more than $492000 in back taxes. They claim they didn’t “realize” they owed the money.

Officials at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) filed a tax lien against the couple last month demanding payment for $492,583.

However, a representative for the “Precious” actress and her crooner hubby insists the bill will be taken care of as soon as possible, telling the Detroit News, “They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately.”

But Patton and Thicke aren’t the only celebrities that have had tax problems. Other celebrities in trouble with the IRS include Wesley Snipes, Bow Wow, Toni Braxton, T-Boz, and Jermaine Durpi.

Robin Thicke loves his wife Paula Patton. And he has no problem letting the world know it, but that doesn’t mean that what they have will work for everybody else. Robin recently spoke with Essence about interracial love.

On how it feels to know that people are getting married and making babies to his music:
It’s actually the best thing. It’s nice if you can make someone drop it like it’s hot, or pop a bottle. But we’re always dropping it and popping it. What I realize about the difference between me and my peers — you know, Chris Brown and Drizzy Drake and all my musical peers — is that they haven’t been with the same woman for 18 years and I’ve been with a Black woman for 18 years. I’ve never dated a White woman. Don’t want to. I’ve never been on a date with a White woman. When you have that relationship and that means the most to you — you know I can’t live without that woman, she is my muse, my best friend, and my creative partner. I didn’t have a great relationship with my mom and she didn’t have a great relationship with her dad and we became that for each other. She’s my mama and I’m her daddy. I even call her mama and she calls me daddy. We are that to each other.

The media often tells Black women that they’re better off dating White guys. What’s your response to that?
I think that’s ridiculous. There are so many good Black men out there that are hardworking, decent, and handsome, you know? To start that rumor is as bad as starting any other negative rumor. There are great Black men out there. There are only a few good White men — trust me. (Laughs) Good luck finding a good White man who understands your journey. I only have three White friends. I’ve got 20 Black male friends, who are all good men who take good care of their wives, and good care of their children. I know amazing Black men. Maybe the women have to take better care of their men. Maybe you’re being too stubborn. Maybe you’re not saying you’re sorry. You have to take good care of him, too. You have to give love to get love.

Pharrell launched his Qream liqueur last night in California. Tons of celebs, including Serena and Venus Williams, Lauren London, Eva Marcille and Sanaa Lathan, came out to the private residence to support his new endeavor – a non-dairy, dessert-inspired vodka targeted towards women. Available in two flavors, strawberry creme and peach creme, a bottle costs $30.

Though Pharrell isn’t a drinker himself, he explained his inspiration.

“I think there’s such a stigma in the world about indulgence, making people feel guilty. Those things release endorphins. That means it brings joy to people.”

With less calories than a glass of wine(!) and a thinner consistency than other cream liqueurs, we must say Pharrell’s got a winner on his hands! This drink won’t make you feel guilty in the morning.

Actress Paula Patton recently appeared on the Chelsea Handler show and the “Jumping the Broom” star dished on why people think her newborn son Julian Fuego is adopted. Chelsea stated, “when you don’t look like your baby at all people think you’re the nanny.”

Paula responded with:

“He’s blond, he has blue eyes. It’s crazy,” she said of her son. “Everybody’s like, did you have anything to do with this? They think we like adopted a Russian child.”

She sees it coming in time, though. “Blackness takes time,” she explained. “A tan is coming in, the hair’s curlier, I’m telling you.”

Thicke says, he will have Julian shooting a basketball at the age of two to try and give him a Tiger Woods-like focus, a reference to the golf star’s defining concentration skills on the golf course. Robin Thicke is currently promoting his latest record “Sex Therapy.”

“Mother, father and son are all doing well,” says Thicke’s rep.

The crooner had canceled his portion of Tuesday night’s show at the Staples Center for “personal reasons.” But his tour mate, Alicia Keys, offered her congratulations from the stage.

Having already worked with Nicki Minaj, it was time for Thicke to recruit some new vocals on his next single, and he chose British songstress Estelle.

“She’s just an amazing talent,” he told MTV News on the set of the music video for “Rollacoasta.” “She’s a rapper. She’s a singer. She’s a writer. So it was really meant to be, and when I had this record, I was thinking to myself [that] it was perfect [for Estelle].”

The song is all about the ups and downs of love, as the title suggests. And while the song’s subject matter is deep, Thicke wanted to keep the video’s vibe a little lighter.

“The song is about the roller coaster you go through in a single relationship, but in this video, we’re just talking about the roller coaster of romance,” he explained. “We’re trying to throw a nice little house party that’s classy, sexy, wild, naughty all at the same time.”

Queen Latifah is on the prowl for baby-blue party decorations.

She’s hosting the upcoming baby shower for Paula Patton, who is pregnant with her and hubby Robin Thicke’s first child, a boy.

“It’s going to be pretty intimate,” Latifah tells me. “Not too crazy. Just close family and friends.”

Patton is reportedly due in May. “She’s my buddy,” said Latifah, who costars with Patton and Common in Just Wright. “I love her. I’ve been watching her baby grow from the beginning.”

Look for some musical gifts to be on the baby registry, because it seems the couple is expecting the little guy to be musical. “He will be,” Thicke assured.

“He will sing,” Patton said, adding with a laugh, “Look, no pressure!”

Latifah has her gift picked out. “I have some work to do, but I’m not getting her clothes. I have a special gift that I’m excited about.”

And no, she won’t be called Aunt Queen or Aunt Latifah. She’ll be using her real name instead. Latifah smiled: “I’m Auntie Dana.”

It will be a boy for Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton! According to people.com, the couple recently announced the sex of their baby. Thicke recently told essence.com, that he’s already thinking about the life lessons he’ll impart to his son:

“Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we’ll experience that together,” he says. “That’s the beauty of having a child.”

Of course, there are the first-time parent jitters, too, for Thicke and Patton, 33. “I’m afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that’s when I’m scared or worried about the future,” Thicke says. “I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don’t know if kids ever think their parents were there enough.”

We’re sure that is going to be one good looking baby boy!!!
