Couple Alert? Lance Gross & Angela Simmons Caught At Breakfast [PHOTOS]

We’ve had our eye on Agbodji for almost a year now – and for good reason.

Back in January, we did a profile piece on him (EYE CANDY: David Agbodji) and now he is ranked the #6 male model of the Top 50.

The Togolese-French model took a break from posing nude for Calvin Klein billboards to appear in a photo spread titled “My Jamaican Guy” photographed by Mathia Vriens-McGrath. In it, he bares his chest, abs and sex appeal, all while channeling Grace Jones’ “Nightclubbing” album cover.

Through use of some heavy make-up and photoshop, Agbodji can look downright scary at times, but he’s still serving it up!

Who are some of your favorite designers?
Recently, I’ve been wearing Alexander Wang.

What’s your dream scenario for your life 10 years from now?
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a family person, so in 10 years I hope to be madly in love with my future husband, surrounded by children. I also dream that in 10 years my career will have flourished and I’ll have a home on the water somewhere.

Hmm. We’re not so sure that dream is gonna come true with Diddy as your man.

Necole Bitchie’s new digital magazine BitchieLife interviewed Lance Gross about his likes, his dislikes, his views on open marriage and things that he misses most about being in a relationship. Enjoy the excerpts below:

Since you are a bachelor now, what are some of the qualities that you look for in a woman?
I’m looking for someone who has their sh*t together. They gotta be independent, have goals in life, be tight-knit with their family, intelligent…. Those are the main things that I look for off top.

You had a very public relationship with Eva Marcille. Knowing what you know now, would you keep the next relationship private?
I will never have a public relationship like that one again. A lot of the reasons why we were so open was because we thought if we put it out there, then people aren’t going to speculate and make up their own stories. But it kind of backfired on us because everybody felt like they were in our relationship. They felt entitled to know all the information. So, I will never do that again. If it comes out then I am not going to deny who I am with, but my next relationship will definitely be more private than that one.”

What do you have to say to people who think that all celebrity relationships are business arrangements? For example, some couples are put together for publicity purposes.
I hear stuff like that all the time. I loved Eva and she loved me so that’s what it was. It wasn’t about if we get seen together it would boost our careers.

What do you like most about the single life vs. being in a relationship?
The freedom! I don’t have to answer to anybody. I can kick it with my boys freely. We can go wherever. I’ve always been the type to have a girl and be in a relationship so the single life is new to me.

What is the most important quality to make it?
“Do not jump down if you are not taken to a casting. Think always: ‘It’s nothing personal.’ Easy to say, hard to put into practice.”

So how are those 40 years [of age]?
“Beautiful. On the other hand, [...] is full of beautiful women of 40 years. I do not pose too many problems. Physically, I’m fine. ”

And mentally?
“I’m active, I want to do much. I do not think of retiring. Multi-tasking, if I’m still bored.”

We’ve always thought that Solange was by far the more unique sister. Fashion website Refinery29 recognized that, too. After seeing her at other bands gigs rocking couture bunny ears, a luxe turban, and awesome shoes, they could barely pay attention to the music. Here, she talks personal style and gives a peek into her closet.

Who are your style heroes?
“My mom in the ’70s and ’80s! She was a bad bitch. Sex and the City totally jacked her steez on the camels. I have a pic of her on a camel ride in Egypt in the ’80s serving the hell out of that desert! Also, Diana Ross, The Fela Kuti Queens, Björk, ’70s-era Chaka Khan, Chloë Sevigny, ’90s Erykah Badu.”

Do you ever feel you have to work harder to differentiate yourself from your older sis?
“If anything, I feel like if I didn’t have a sister who was a huge star, no one would think twice about how I look, because they would have no one to compare it to. I would just be another gal who wears loads of vintage or counts Grace Jones as inspiration. But because I’m Beyoncé’s sister, I’m an easy target to say, ‘There’s no way those two had the same parents, and have one be naturally this way…this has to be a ploy for her to appear cool!’ It makes me want to pull out pictures of five-year-old me next to nine-year-old her wearing a tutu over polka dot stockings and an old scarf over my head. It would be so much easier for me to put on a little black dress, straighten my hair, and sing about dancing in the club, but it’s not my job to prove anything. I’m here to make music, to inspire myself. I’m not selling my likability, I’m sharing my journeys. If you don’t like it, believe it’s real, or understand it…then keep my name out of your mouth.”

What’s your secret style weapon?
“Shoes! I’m all about the shoes! I order a ton of them online and play with my entire wardrobe until I find the right shoe. Unfortunately, so many people get it right from the head until the ankles. The shoe is very important. I can’t even f*** with you if your shoe game is slacking.”

You’ve got such unique style, would you ever consider being involved in the family fashion business, House of Deréon?
“Why thank you very much! It’s funny you ask because I initially was involved as the spokesperson, but the clothes just didn’t reflect my personal style and I decided to hand that over. That’s the great thing about my family. We work together so closely that if something’s not working out, we can be honest about it and there won’t be any grudges or issues. I wrote a couple of songs on my sister’s last album and if there’s a line she doesn’t like, she changes it and we keep on moving. I will say though, they did just do a bedding line that I am extremely in love with and I was like, ‘Can I model that… in my house?’”

“I’m a big fan of mini-dresses – they’re my favorite silhouette – because they’re flirty and you get to show a little skin without revealing too much, especially if the sleeves are long and cover up a lot of the body. I also like dresses that come to the knee that are a little tight and show off the shape of the body.”

“I like ankle boots because somehow they always give a great shape to my leg, like I’ve been working out a lot!”

“I really like cat-eye sunglasses, but I would say my favorite everyday shape is [the shield] straight across on the top, because they’re really flattering for the shape of my face. “

“I love sneakers and my favorite sneaker is the Nike Blazer. I don’t really like low-tops, but if a high top is paired with skinny jeans, it makes your feet look really big, but the Blazer gives a really good shape for girls, especially with skinny jeans.”

On the pressure to be thin

‘You shouldn’t be pressured into trying to be thin by the fashion industry, because they only want models that are like human mannequins. They know that if we see an outfit on a mannequin in a shop window we will love it and want to buy it whatever size we are. That’s why they have size zero models – they want to sell clothes. But you have to remember that it’s not practical or possible for an everyday woman to look like that. Being size zero is a career in itself so we shouldn’t try and be like them. It’s not realistic and it’s not healthy,’

On her tattoos

‘I have 13 at the moment – a music note on my ankle, a skull with a bow on its head behind my ankle, a Sanskrit prayer here [going down her hip] and ‘Freedom in Christ’ in Arabic writing here on my wrist – oh, and a gun! I will probably carry on until I run out of cool little places to put them,’

We’re not sure how we feel about the Etta James-like wig, but Arlenis looks beautiful, as usual.

Tyra Banks has recently resigned with her former agency IMG, but it looks like she’s still being bitten by the modeling bug.

Three months after designer Alexander McQueen’s death, Banks has paid tribute to him in a photo shoot fit for royalty.

She says, “When I heard of Alexander (Lee as he was called by his friends) McQueen’s passing back in February I was devastated. Not only was he one of my favorite designers, he was someone that I had been lucky enough to meet and was a wonderful human being…I knew that I had to pay him tribute in a special way. I feel like a queen whenever I wear his clothes (especially the stunning blue dress I wore for this shoot)!  McQueen had a flare for the dramatic and a love for fantasy. I want to think that he would have loved these photos.”

Frankie recently had the opportunity to do her first all star photo shoot for Stevie Boi’s “Stunna Shades” eyeglass line.  Before the shoot Frankie got to meet Atlanta’s top streetwalker, Yellow Meat.  Frankie did not care about Yellow Meat’s profession. She told Yellow Meat that she was still beautiful and that she should never let anyone tell her anything else.
