A rep for the couple told TMZ they are working to pay it off and the lien has been lifted.

It was rumored that Clive Davis would be working on a biopic of the late Whitney Houston, but those rumors have been silenced, but not the desires of several young songstresses that want to play the legendary singer on screen. Brandy has placed herself at the top of the list and Rihanna’s put in her bid. Yeah–the same Rihanna that sings about how much she loves it when you eat it.

Rihanna told The Press Association, ”That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.” Hmm, even if Ri Ri were to give her entire life, I still believe she wouldn’t be able to pull that off. Oh and just in case Rihanna giving her entire life wasn’t enough for her to be able to play Whitney, she also states, “My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song — ‘I Will Always Love You,’” Rihanna said. “It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

Actress Paula Patton admits she had a tough time losing her baby weight. The actress who gave birth to her son Julian Fuego late last year had to be in the best shape of her life to star opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, a feat even she calls “crazy.”

“It was really the most grueling and one of the hardest things I’ve done,” Patton, 36, tells PEOPLE about her intense training while attending Thursday’s Reebok Crossfit Sport of Fitness campaign launch in New York.

“I worked out for two and half hours, six days a week for a couple of months. It was so hard!”

To stay motivated, “I would never cry in front of the boys, but inside I was hurting and a little depressed,” she admits.

Patton now works out for one hour five days a week, doing such activities as running, weight training, Pilates and yoga with her husband, singer Robin Thicke.

“We started doing it together years ago,” says Patton. “I’m much more flexible than him, but he’s much stronger than I am. So it’s really fun to workout together. We balance each other.

“Becoming a mother is the best thing that’s happened to me.

“He’s at the age where he’s talking. He’s not doing soliloquies, but he’s saying Mama, Dada, car and dog. His vocabulary is growing every day. He makes me so happy.”

We’re not sure if we feel sorry for Paula…if we had our own personal trainer and nutritionist, we too could lose our baby weight in record time.

Vanity Fair magazine has released its annual Hollywood issue, profiling a dozen or so up-and-coming actresses, and – just like every other year – all the actresses of any color were pushed to the side.

Literally.

The cover is tri-fold, featuring one “power” panel – the one you’ll actually see on newsstands – and two foldout panels.

Rooney Mara (of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain landed the coveted “power” panel.

Black actress Adepero Oduye (of Pariah) is featured on the second foldout alongside Elizabeth Olsen (the third famous sister) and Shailene Woodley.

And finally, on the last foldout is Mission: Impossible star Paula Patton next to Felicity Jones, Lily Collins and Brit Marling.

The magazine has done this almost every year. In the past, Zoe Saldana, Rashida Jones, Rosario Dawson, Kerry Washington, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Angela Bassett, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle have all been pushed “to the right” so as not to be seen on newsstands, probably in hopes that a “white-washed” cover will result in more sales. See ‘em all here.

“Mission Impossible — Ghost Protocol” actress Paula Patton and her singer hubby Robin Thicke are tax deadbeats who are facing a huge tax bill after failing to hand over more than $492000 in back taxes. They claim they didn’t “realize” they owed the money.

Officials at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) filed a tax lien against the couple last month demanding payment for $492,583.

However, a representative for the “Precious” actress and her crooner hubby insists the bill will be taken care of as soon as possible, telling the Detroit News, “They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately.”

But Patton and Thicke aren’t the only celebrities that have had tax problems. Other celebrities in trouble with the IRS include Wesley Snipes, Bow Wow, Toni Braxton, T-Boz, and Jermaine Durpi.

Robin Thicke loves his wife Paula Patton. And he has no problem letting the world know it, but that doesn’t mean that what they have will work for everybody else. Robin recently spoke with Essence about interracial love.

On how it feels to know that people are getting married and making babies to his music:
It’s actually the best thing. It’s nice if you can make someone drop it like it’s hot, or pop a bottle. But we’re always dropping it and popping it. What I realize about the difference between me and my peers — you know, Chris Brown and Drizzy Drake and all my musical peers — is that they haven’t been with the same woman for 18 years and I’ve been with a Black woman for 18 years. I’ve never dated a White woman. Don’t want to. I’ve never been on a date with a White woman. When you have that relationship and that means the most to you — you know I can’t live without that woman, she is my muse, my best friend, and my creative partner. I didn’t have a great relationship with my mom and she didn’t have a great relationship with her dad and we became that for each other. She’s my mama and I’m her daddy. I even call her mama and she calls me daddy. We are that to each other.

The media often tells Black women that they’re better off dating White guys. What’s your response to that?
I think that’s ridiculous. There are so many good Black men out there that are hardworking, decent, and handsome, you know? To start that rumor is as bad as starting any other negative rumor. There are great Black men out there. There are only a few good White men — trust me. (Laughs) Good luck finding a good White man who understands your journey. I only have three White friends. I’ve got 20 Black male friends, who are all good men who take good care of their wives, and good care of their children. I know amazing Black men. Maybe the women have to take better care of their men. Maybe you’re being too stubborn. Maybe you’re not saying you’re sorry. You have to take good care of him, too. You have to give love to get love.

Actress Paula Patton shares her secrets to a successful marriage in the December 2011/January 2012 issue of Complex magazine. The Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol star dishes on working with Tom Cruise, body confidence and her marriage to singer Robin Thicke and poses for a sexy photo shoot that will definitely make men even more jealous of her hubby, R&B singer Robin Thicke.

How does she run in those heels?

Patton tells the mag:

“Your wife should be your sex therapist,” She adds: “If you’re not married, your girlfriend should be your sex therapist. If she’s not, then things aren’t going so well.”

COMPLEX: The two of you have been together for half of your life. For a couple in the public eye, that’s unheard of. How does it continue to work amidst all the stress of fame?

PAULA PATTON: There’s no recipe. There’s no other way to say it—it’s true desire. We’re crazy enough that we just keep wanting to be together. We just don’t not want to be with each other. [Laughs.] It doesn’t mean that we don’t have our ups and downs. We just don’t want to be with anyone else. That’s how we keep it together: desire.

COMPLEX: You two seem more comfortable than most celebrity couples discussing your relationship publicly. His very sexy “Lost Without You” video felt like a sneak peek into your bedroom.

PAULA PATTON: [Laughs.] I guess it’s because we were in love way before either of us encountered any of this celebrity stuff. We knew each other and loved each other way before any of this. There’s never been a sense of, OK, we shouldn’t talk about it to the press, because we’re in each other’s lives. I don’t know how to keep that a secret.

Paula Patton may star in the “Sparkle” remake. She has been offered a role by Salim and Mara Brock Akil – the same team behind her most recent film “Jumping The Broom.”

She did not say whether she would be playing the title character Sparkle (originally played by Irene Cara), Sister (originally played by Lonette McKee) or Dolores (originally played by Dwan Smith).

If you’ve never seen the 1976 version, the film follows a girl group that experience turmoil after one of their members turns to drugs and another achieves her desired fame all by herself.

The movie, “Jumping the Broom”, hit theaters this weekend and did better than expected at the box office; earning about $16 million in the first few days. The movie stars actors Laz Alonso, Mike Epps, Paula Patton, Angela Bassett, Pooch Hall and Meagan Good to name a few. It’s a hilarious love story about two people from totally different worlds who fall in love and want to get married and have to deal with their families clashing while preparing for the wedding.

The movie actually did better than the Sony projections, making it the third most popular movie nationwide.

I had the opportunity to see the film this past weekend and I must say that I loved every second of it! It is definitely a must see. For those of you who have seen the movie, what did you think?!

Actress Paula Patton recently appeared on the Chelsea Handler show and the “Jumping the Broom” star dished on why people think her newborn son Julian Fuego is adopted. Chelsea stated, “when you don’t look like your baby at all people think you’re the nanny.”

Paula responded with:

“He’s blond, he has blue eyes. It’s crazy,” she said of her son. “Everybody’s like, did you have anything to do with this? They think we like adopted a Russian child.”

She sees it coming in time, though. “Blackness takes time,” she explained. “A tan is coming in, the hair’s curlier, I’m telling you.“

Word on the street is that Paula Patton & Robin Thicke’s marriage may be in trouble. Apparently the couple have been growing apart due to their busy work schedules which means that they hardly see each other, and, Paula is worried about Robin’s wandering eye and jumpoffs! The couple welcomed their first child, Julian Fuego a year ago.

I hope this is just a bad rumor, they are one of my favorite couples!

Paula Patton and Robin Thicke braved the rain while shopping with their son Julian earlier today (December 22). The family was spotted at Barneys New York and the Nike Store in Beverly Hills, CA.

They were most likely doing some very last-minute Christmas shopping.
