Raspberry Bellini
1. Muddle the raspberries (6), sugar (2 tsp) and lime juice (just a dash) in a cocktail shaker.
2. Fill with ice and add the Leblon cachaca (2 oz)
3. Shake vigorously.
4. Strain into a Champagne flute.
5. Top with Champagne.

Mandarin Cocktail
Pour mandarin liqueur (1 oz) into a champagne flute; top with champagne (4 oz). Twist clementine peel over glass and gently drop into cocktail.

Amore Frizzante
1. Pour the Van Gogh vodka (1 oz), GranGala Triple Orange Liquer (1/2 oz) and peach nectar (1/2 oz) into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain into a Champagne flute.
4. Top with Prosecco sparkling wine.
5. Garnish with a slice of peach and two raspberries.

Party Mimosa
Stir together apricot-mango nectar (12 oz), pineapple juice (12 oz), cold water (3/4 cup), and orange juice concentrate (6 oz) in a large pitcher until combined. Pour in bottle of sparkling wine (750 ml) just before serving.

Annex Theater Champagne Cocktail
Place the sugar cube (1) into a Champagne flute, and drop the Angostura bitters (just a dash) onto the sugar. Fill the flute with Champagne (5 oz), and serve. Do not stir.

1. Spend some time with God. Read your Bible, or a Christian classic, or review your journal from the past year. Reflect on how you’ve grown and what God has taught you. At the stroke of midnight, pray for the year ahead and ask God to guide you in what’s ahead.

2. Pamper yourself. Take a long, hot bath. Give yourself a pedicure. Dye your hair. Choose one or two things you don’t usually have time for or can’t always afford — and give yourself a mini-makeover.

3. Go ahead; break the rules a little. If it’s chocolate you deprive yourself of all year long, then go crazy and make some chocolate treats. If you’ve skipped out on fast food for a while, drive through more than one place for your favorites and bring them home for a smorgasbord.

4. Drape a towel over the cork and hold the towel firmly at the cork and bottleneck.

5. Hold the other hand under the base of the bottle.

6. Twist the bottle at its base while pulling lightly in both directions.

7. Hold the cork and bottleneck firm to reposition the hand at the base.

8. Repeat 6 and 7 until the cork moves its way out of the bottleneck.

The bottles pressure should be released gently and the cork should never leave the hand until it is completely out of the bottle. Wrap the towel around the neck and it is now ready to pour.

From Starpulse: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is helping revelers ring in the New Year safely by providing free transportation services in New York and Las Vegas.

The generous rapper is handing out thousands of subway passes and vouchers redeemable for taxi rides in the Big Apple and Sin City as part of his Safe Rides program, which he launched last year.

He says, “New York stands as the world’s icon for a New Year’s Eve celebration and Las Vegas is the biggest party destination in the country. By bringing this program to both of these great cities we will continue to show the rest of the country that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.”

The coupons will be distributed on New Year’s Eve.

Ne-Yo skipped out on an appearance he was supposed to make in Seattle, and the party’s promoters are NOT having it.

Since some people paid up to $1200 for a ticket to the party the singer was supposed to appear at, the planners of said fete are hitting him with a $1.5 million lawsuit.

We just got word that Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi’s 38-year-old son Saif paid Mariah Carey one million dollars to perform on New Year’s Eve in St. Bart’s. SERIOUSLY?!

Says China Daily,

Mariah Carey was paid $1 million to sing just four songs at a New Year’s Eve party.

The 38-year-old singer reportedly received the staggering sum from Libyan dictator Colonal Gaddafi’s son Saif son after agreeing to perform at the Nikki Beach Club on the Caribbean island of St Barts.

Mariah, who was at the event with husband of eight months Nick Cannon, shattered all pregnancy rumours as she enjoyed champagne and oysters during the party.

Other performers included hip-hop stars Jay-Z and Timbaland, who performed together on stage, before Jay-Z saw in 2009 together with his wife Beyonce Knowles.

Guests at the star-studded event include James Bond star Daniel Craig, who was with his fiancée Satsuki Mitchell, and actor Eddie Murphy.

One million dollars for FOUR SONGS? For $250,000 a song sung by a wind machine-obsessed robot, I’d rather hire the best DJ in the entire world to just play all of her albums, if I really loved Mariah that much. Honestly, I did love the old Mariah that much. She better have performed “Emotions” or that was the biggest waste of a million dollars next to simply wiping your ass with a million one-dollar bills.
