2. Shake well.

4. Top with Prosecco sparkling wine.
5. Garnish with a slice of peach and two raspberries.

Stir together apricot-mango nectar (12 oz), pineapple juice (12 oz), cold water (3/4 cup), and orange juice concentrate (6 oz) in a large pitcher until combined. Pour in bottle of sparkling wine (750 ml) just before serving.

Place the sugar cube (1) into a Champagne flute, and drop the Angostura bitters (just a dash) onto the sugar. Fill the flute with Champagne (5 oz), and serve. Do not stir.

1. Tear off the foil wrapper around the cork.

2. Flip down and twist the metal wire loop on the safety stopper.

3. Remove the safety stopper.

4. Drape a towel over the cork and hold the towel firmly at the cork and bottleneck.

5. Hold the other hand under the base of the bottle.

6. Twist the bottle at its base while pulling lightly in both directions.

7. Hold the cork and bottleneck firm to reposition the hand at the base.

8. Repeat 6 and 7 until the cork moves its way out of the bottleneck.

The bottles pressure should be released gently and the cork should never leave the hand until it is completely out of the bottle. Wrap the towel around the neck and it is now ready to pour.

From Starpulse: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is helping revelers ring in the New Year safely by providing free transportation services in New York and Las Vegas.

The generous rapper is handing out thousands of subway passes and vouchers redeemable for taxi rides in the Big Apple and Sin City as part of his Safe Rides program, which he launched last year.

He says, “New York stands as the world’s icon for a New Year’s Eve celebration and Las Vegas is the biggest party destination in the country. By bringing this program to both of these great cities we will continue to show the rest of the country that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.”

The coupons will be distributed on New Year’s Eve.

We just got word that Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi’s 38-year-old son Saif paid Mariah Carey one million dollars to perform on New Year’s Eve in St. Bart’s. SERIOUSLY?!

Says China Daily,

Mariah Carey was paid $1 million to sing just four songs at a New Year’s Eve party.

The 38-year-old singer reportedly received the staggering sum from Libyan dictator Colonal Gaddafi’s son Saif son after agreeing to perform at the Nikki Beach Club on the Caribbean island of St Barts.

Mariah, who was at the event with husband of eight months Nick Cannon, shattered all pregnancy rumours as she enjoyed champagne and oysters during the party.

Other performers included hip-hop stars Jay-Z and Timbaland, who performed together on stage, before Jay-Z saw in 2009 together with his wife Beyonce Knowles.

Guests at the star-studded event include James Bond star Daniel Craig, who was with his fiancée Satsuki Mitchell, and actor Eddie Murphy.
