Slated to debut in early 2011, the show will give audiences an insider’s look at pigeon rearing and racing, a sport that is far from the mainstream. The novice pigeon racer Tyson goes toe-to-toe against several individuals in hopes of being crowned a champ all over again.

Little known fact that Tyson has raised pigeons all his life. In fact his first-ever fight as a child was in defense of his birds. But this show will follow his first foray into racing them competitively. So for the first time in years, Tyson enters a sport as an underdog.

Gabourey Sidibe: “I’m Terrified Of Mike Tyson”

Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe has developed a crippling fear of boxer Mike Tyson after finding herself frozen to the spot as he walked by her at a recent awards ceremony.

The Precious star, who landed her first Academy Award nomination on Tuesday, attended the Golden Globes in Hollywood last month, where Tyson was also a guest.

Sidibe didn’t speak a word to the retired boxer because she was scared off by his intimidating facial tattoo.

She explains, “At the Golden Globes Mike Tyson was there. I didn’t realise, but I’m terrified of Mike Tyson.

“I saw him and I was standing with my manager and said, ‘Don’t move, don’t move’. There’s something about him. I’m sure he’s a very nice man, but there’s something about a face tattoo. It says, ‘I’ve gone as far as I want to go in society’ and it makes me want to take a few steps back. I’m sure he’s nice though.”

Mike Tyson had a run-in with a photog at LAX earlier this month and it may have exposed a lapse in security at one of the biggest airports in the world.

Sources tell TMZ, Tyson’s fight with the pap was not recorded by any camera other the one the photog had — not a security camera, nothing. You’d think at an airport as highly-trafficked as LAX you couldn’t go anywhere without being caught on video — with the exception of the bathroom, of course.

Robin Givens took Oprah Winfrey to task on Friday for allowing her ex-husband Mike Tyson to joke about domestic abuse during a chat with him last month.

Givens, who is now a spokesperson for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, wrote a fiery letter to Winfrey after watching the Tyson special last month, reprimanding the talk show host for allowing the former boxer to rage on about his ex-wife and win laughs from the studio audience as he recalled brutal encounters with her.

Givens, who Tyson described as a “tough” and “mean” woman during his Oprah interview, told Oprah she was “really hurt” by the way Winfrey handled the chat with her ex.

Holding back tears, the actress said, “I wouldn’t be honest if there wasn’t a part of me that wanted you to go, when he said, ‘Oh, I’ve socked her before…’ ‘That’s not right.’ And it wasn’t right, it was painful. He can say whatever about me… but there are so many women like me, in my situation, that I just feel when there is this laughter, if you are in that situation out there, it kind of lightens it.”

Twelve years after biting off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s ear during their second heavyweight fight, Mike Tyson will again come face to face with his boxing rival – courtesy of Oprah Winfrey.

According to oprah.com, the appearance on the show which is dubbed “Mike Tyson Returns” would be the first for the two to speak to each other after the incident.

Beside facing Holyfield, Tyson will also be on the stage to answer questions from the studio audience. According to the press release, he will “speak about the overwhelming reaction he’s had from his first interview”. On Monday, October 12, “Oprah” aired an interview with Tyson who cried upon talking about the death of his 4-year-old daughter.

Mike Tyson is set to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s show today. The ex-boxer tells Oprah he is still unclear about the details surrounding the tragic death of his 4-year-old daughter Exodus.

“Because if I know, then there might be a blame for it. And if there’s somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem.”

Mike says that his family has kept him from going off the deep end. “I was so happy that I had the tools in life, you know, to not go in that direction because I’ve been that direction. My family – that’s my biggest asset.”

Mike also talks about his boxing days including biting Evander Holyfield’s ear.

From the looks of the preview for “Oprah,” Mike Tyson admits that he abused former wife Robin Givens during their 1980s marriage.

The 44-year-old actress is speaking out on how her painful experience has allowed her to relate to Rihanna.

“It is so difficult to balance celebrity, being young and having this huge responsibility. I was a baby. So I understand the pressure that Rihanna feels to speak out, especially when that camera is on you. You do need time to figure your life out. I do feel that if she speaks out about it people will listen to her. But she is young and I can imagine the pain and the confusion she is going through. She has every right to take all the time she needs. It is very confusing because of what we do [perform], you feel that your life belongs to a lot of people but your life belongs to you.”

About Mike Tyson’s interview with Oprah:

“I will not be watching. I am going to be taking my oldest son and 10 of his friends on a cruise to the Bahamas.”

Watch the infamous clip from the couple’s 1988 joint interview on “20/20″ in which Givens impulsively exposes Tyson’s abusive behavior. She also described her life as”torture, pure hell, worse than anything I could possibly imagine” and claimed Tyson was “manic depressive.”

Mike Tyson is  speaking out about the horrible accident that claimed his 4 year-old daughter’s life and how he’s trying to continue living his life.

Mike will be appearing on Fox’s new series, Brothers, which stars Michael Strahan and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell.

The heavyweight champ will be making a cameo as he shows up on screen to collect money from Strahan, but adds that the acting gig is helping him get over his depression.

Says Tyson:

“I knew Chill over 25 years ago. I met Mike recently. I really was beating myself up over my daughter. I was staying in the house, depressed; it was a dark moment in my life. This keeps me functioning as a healthy human being.”

I am working with dealing with it. I have spoken to a lot of people. I have become a member of an exclusive club no one wants to join. I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it. I am going through a process, trying to heal. I am in denial, because I don’t know how to handle it. I don’t know what to do or say. I appreciate everybody who supported me.”

The show will premiere on September 25th with Tyson’s episode airing later in the season.

The boxer and Lakiha have known each other for 10 years. We thought he married his daughter Exodus’ mother, but that is incorrect, Sol Xochitl is Exodus’ mother whom Tyson dated before Lakiha.

perezhilton.com says the couple took out a marriage license on Saturday and married the same night at the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton.  There were no guests in attendance.

This will be Mike’s third marriage.  The boxer was married to actress Robin Givens for one year.

Following Mike Tyson’s tragic loss of his four-year-old daughter, Exodus, I am sure parents are thinking about potential household hazards and ways to prevent similar tragedies from happening. I know living in cramped city apartments many of us don’t have room for treadmills or much else, but let us not overlook this tragic event as though it can’t happen to our own children. Let’s face it – our homes and our world pose so many dangers, many that we are unaware of, but also many that we can prevent. Accidents such as the one that claimed the life of Exodus happen in the blink of an eye, and oftentimes as parents we can take for granted the dangers of out-of-sight independent play. Whether you have a newborn, infant, or busy toddler, here are few some tips to help childproof your home from some known dangers.

Keep it closed, or lock it up.

• Protect your child from many potential hazards (cleaning products, medicines, slips and falls, among other things) by closing and/or locking all doors in the house to keep the curious one from wandering off into unsupervised areas. Also, I’ve found safety gates to be helpful in blocking off certain areas like the kitchen.
• Keep wires, plastic bags, and chemicals out of reach.
• Make sure that electrical wires and outlets are out of your little one’s reach, and invest in plastic wall covers for outlets that are not in use.
• Plastic bags, household cleaning supplies, medicines, alcohol and other poisons should be stored in either a high cabinet or a storage bin with a child safety lock or latch. If you have a poisoning emergency call the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 for assistance available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• For window cords, the best solution is to attach the cord to the wall or buy blinds that have wands instead of string cords

Think like a baby, act like a safe parent

• Get down on your hands and knees and look for anything that may catch your child’s attention. Look for any potential harmful or breakable items and move them up to higher surfaces. Also, pick up small items such as coins, buttons, coins, jewelry and small objects.
• Move any item that is within arm’s reach from your child’s crib and high chair.
• If you live in a house or have stairs in your apartment, put a gate at the top and bottom of the staircase. Kids are extremely fast, and all it takes is a few moments before they make their way to the stairs. Gates can be a great way to protect your child, and the Consumer Report recommends gates that require screws for installation (often called hardware mounted or permanent gate) as the best gates for use at the top of stairways. • Make sure to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and replace them if necessary. Test each smoke alarm every month. Push the test button until you hear a loud noise.
• Before bed, make sure your child takes off any dress-up items (necklaces, purses, scarves, capes) before he/she goes to sleep.

UPDATE: Mike Tyson’s youngest daughter Exodus has died following a tragic accident at her home in Phoenix.

The 4-year-old was put on life support after her brother, 7, found her hanging from a treadmill cord on Monday morning.

She was rushed to the nearby St Joseph’s Hospital but passed away yesterday.

UPDATE:According to people.com, Mike Tyson released a statement of appreciation for everyone’s concerns.

“The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time,” the statement said.

Boxer Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter is on life support after she was found with a treadmill cord around her neck.

According to tmz.com Cops were called to Tyson’s Phoenix home early this morning after his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by it’s power cable.

Tyson who was out of town rushed back to Phoenix to be with his daughter.

I will not ever lie to you, Hello Beautiful readers: I am all about a good tasteless joke. In fact, oftentimes, the more tasteless, the better. It’s all about the execution, really. But when it comes to a t-shirt like the one in the picture above, well, I could just about puke on it.

Clothing company Rock the Bureau plays on urban colloquialisms on its t-shirts with phrases like “I [heart] My Bitches” on women’s tees and rap lyrics (Weezy’s “Fuck Bitches, Get Money” from the song “Get Money”) on men’s tees. But “I’ll Chris Brown A Bitch” is just such lazy tasteless humor that I can’t even get down with it.

For one thing, wordy tees are generally lame unless the message is a little witty and cryptic. At least, in my opinion. For another, what girl would really holler at a guy with a t-shirt that says “I’ll Chris Brown A Bitch”?!?!?! It’s like the anti-booty-getter in my book.

Am I bugging, or could Rock the Bureau have at least tried a little bit harder to make a clever joke out of a sad situation? They get no points for effort in my book.

If it wasn’t funny when Mike Tyson did it, it’s not really that funny now!

Robin Givens recently spoke on her story of domestic violence with ex-husband Mike Tyson on Larry King Live. Givens claimed “My story is Rihanna’s story” and continued to talk about how difficult it is to leave the person you love even though they may be abusive.

Behar: Why did you stay with him?

Givens: Well, he had said that he was going to get help. And I loved him. I wanted to make it work. I was very bonded. And it’s hard to be bonded and save yourself at the same time.

In a 2007 interview with Giant, Brown said that his stepfather regularly beat his mother: “He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, ‘I’m just gonna go crazy on him one day…’ I hate him to this day.” (Brown’s stepfather has since denied that he ever hit Brown’s mother.)
