In his first interview since being released from prison, Tip told Larry King about what he took from the experience, his job behind bars, plans to get married to fiancée Tiny, being a father to his six children, and his thoughts on his Takers co-star Chris Brown and former girlfriend Rihanna.

Last night, supermodel (and super businesswoman) Tyra Banks appeared on the Larry King Live show and, amidst talking about Chris Brown, Oprah, and trying to teach him how to “smize,” Tyra discussed hair – again! Watch the clip below:

Larry King: Are you looking to be Oprah? Is that it?
Tyra Banks: Am I looking to be Oprah? Oh, Lord, if I tried, I would fail.
King: But you’re approaching it — magazines, shows, specials. …
Banks: She is like the — the Godmama, you know? There will never be another. There never has been and never will be another. But looking to be her — no. I mean, I — I started as a model, so there’s a path that’s quite different.
King: The last time you were on you were dealing with the “F” word, meaning fat. You were fighting back. There [was] a non-flattering tabloid photo of you — remember? In the swimsuit?
Banks: Yes.
King: You lost weight since then.
Banks: Yes.
King: Do you still feel an image pressure? Do you think — you think like a fat person?
Banks: I don’t actually. You know, when I — when I told the world to kiss my fat — I can say “ass” right?
King: Yes, you can.
Banks: Yes. When I told the world to kiss my fat ass, I remained that size for two years. I maintained it with my ice cream and my salad with ranch and dressing and croutons and bacon bits. Like I — I didn’t look at myself even on television and think that I was too big or — I don’t know. I didn’t — it didn’t connect. But since I have lost a lot of weight, and it started with the — a weight loss challenge, actually at the top of this year. So I’m two years after “kiss my fat ass.”
King: When you look in the mirror, are you happy with the way you look?

Banks: I always feel great when I don’t have clothes on. So at home, by myself, walking past …
King: Oh, we’re glad you mean that now.
Banks: Just too much information. But I always feel good that way.
King: So you don’t look at yourself nude and say, “Oh, I don’t like this.” You like it?
Banks: No, unless the lighting is bad in the dressing room. But, no. I always feel good. But sometimes certain clothes, when I put them on and they don’t fit the way that I would like them to, that’s when I tend to get self-conscious.

Now I’m all for forgive and forget. I can’t even remember what I’m mad about half the time. But it’s really hard to forgive someone who won’t even say what they’ve done wrong in the first place. Are they even sorry or is it just to calm troubled waters?

This is where Chris Brown enters. I’ve always like the young man. He’s  an adorable, seemingly clean cut kid who can sing and dance his behind off, and really appeared to have his -ish together. So when the whole fight (can you even call it a fight?) story broke, I couldn’t really comprehend that it was the same young man.

Fast forward a few months into the future as Chris Brown sits between his PR reps, OOPS, I mean mother and lawyer,  in front of Larry King in all this powder blue looking like he just came off the geek assembling line. I suppose that I, like so many others, expected a heartfelt and honest interview about the altercation. What were we given instead? A bunch of “umms and likes” and whole lot of nothing.

As I watched the interview I couldn’t help but wonder did he mean anything he said or was he simply reciting a poorly written script.

A few things Chris  said and did made me think he didn’t mean  one word of his apology. Let me know if you picked up on it:

“Possibly the worse period…”- WHAT?!?! Let me have the sort of status, fame, and backing Chris Brown had, and then have them snatched away for something so stupid! I would be on Larry King crying my eyes out. Possibly.

He doesn’t remember doing it- Hmmm, you don’t remember doing it, but you apologize for it? Whose the bigger dummy, us or Chris? Even Larry King was taken aback by his response. A bet Larry was thinking, “kid you’re an idiot”. I know I was.

Apologies, apologies- “I apologize to my fans”.  Chris, please, who do you think you’re fooling? You’re apologizing for all the booty you’ll be missing as you pick up garbage off the freeway.

Questions with no answers- Am I the only person who caught that Brown didn’t answer not one single question that had to do with the incident? And when he did, he delivered the worst lines ever! It’s amazing he “respects” Rihanna’s privacy now but wasn’t too upright when he put those horns on her head (like her forehead needed any help in the first place).

The look- If looks could kill, Larry King would be dead. Chris was burning a hole through him like he wanted to add Larry to his list of K.O.’s.

Romeo and Juliet- Last time I checked, Romeo did not WHOMP! on Juliet.

Interview Grade- F. He can play like he meant it, but I think we all know what’s what. He’s officially in the same category as Ike and Bobby. Chris, you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. NEXT!

Chris: “I Don’t Remember Beating Rihanna”

Chris Brown wants you to know that he doesn’t forget the night that he viciously attacked his then girlfriend Rihanna.

Here’s his statement:

“There have been reports on the Internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was – I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future.”

Chris Brown held his first interview since assaulting Rihanna. He sat down with CNN’s Larry King yesterday, eonline.com reports.

We’re hearing it was a no-holds-bar interview and Chris answered every question Larry asked him.

Chris Brown and Rihanna’s past altercations revealed

The interview will air sometime next week and we will let you know the exact date when we get the word.

Brown was formally sentenced on Wednesday to five years’ probation, 52 weeks of domestic-violence counseling and 180 days of community labor, which he’s planning to complete in his home state of Virginia.

Oprah says no, CNN says yes to Breezy

After being turned down by Oprah, Chris Brown is planning to give his first interview since the assault this coming Wednesday on CNN’s Larry King show.

According to radaronline.com, he will be formally sentenced on that day and his team is hoping to snag an interview with Larry King immediately afterwards. During the interview, he plans to apologize again and finally talk about the night he assaulted Rihanna. His handlers believe that King will allow Chris the opportunity to get his apology across without facing “brutal questioning”.
