And there is–panthers, shots of Parisian architecture, gorgeous screaming fans and a Will Ferrell cameo–all give us a small glimpse into the beautiful, dark, twisted fantasy that is Kanye’s mind.

“N*ggas In Paris” may be one of the most infectious songs from Watch The Throne–at least for me it is. Once that beat drops, I can’t help but bounce my shoulders and pretend my bank account rivals both Jay-Z and Kanye’s. So with the release of this video, the dynamic duo reminds us why we’re watching the throne in the first place.

Here’s three reasons why that sh*t is indeed cray.

1. If the first five seconds don’t give you a seizure, watching “N*ggas In Paris” in its entirety, will. Watch with extreme caution and hold your tongue, literally.

2. So, we’re still not going to say anything about Kanye and this leather skirt? Oh. ok.

3. In case you missed any of the Watch The Throne tour stops, ‘Ye and Jay give us a mini experience of the spectacle that was Watch The Throne. From a kaleidoscoped stage and modelesque crowd to the flashing lights–it’s not quite what the show was, but Kanye does manage to fully portray excitement.

His biggest inspirations are Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs and Alexander McQueen, so expect something flashy, beautiful and downright innovative. Here are five reasons why we should give our two weeks notice and get in line to be one of Kanye’s employees.

Passion of the West: Kanye managed to tweet 86 times within a three-hour timespan about developing DONDA. If that doesn’t scream passion, I don’t know what does. The head of company should exhibit an almost manic passion. That’s how you know they love what they do and will do anything for the people that work with them.

Divided We Stand: Kanye’s company will have 22 different divisions. Twenty-freakin’ two! Which means there’s room for all the variety of positions he’s trying to fill.

Creation Station: Have you ever gotten a chance to work with all creative types? Kanye plans on putting all creatives in a room together. That’s gotta be one big room. All jokes aside, having that type of inspiration around you at all times only promotes top-notch ideas and brainstorming sessions.

We Like to Party: Ok, seriously, could you imagine the office parties when you’re working for Kanye? Enough said!

Lesson Learned: It’s not just about Kanye’s creative company, DONDA. He’s an advocate of education as well. He wants to team up with director/producer/actor Spike Jonze to create a summer school program that teaches new curriculum. So for all of you that means, even more jobs!

In an exclusive interview with Star magazine, Amber Rose revealed that the reason she and Kanye split was because of the Kim K’s devious cheating ways:

“Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together,” Amber exclusively told Star. “She’s a homewrecker!

According to Amber, she was dating Kanye when he and Kim first hooked up — and Kim was dating NFL star Reggie Bush!

“They were both cheating,” Amber, 28, said. “They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.”

Amber says it was Kim, 31, who instigated the whole affair by calling, texting and sending racy photos of herself to Kanye.

“She was sending pictures, and I was like, ‘Kim, just stop. Don’t be that person,’” but apparently Kim didn’t care enough to respond when Amber emailed her for an explanation

“I thought at least she’d be woman enough to respond to me. She never responded.”

Amber slammed Kim for her cheating ways. “It’s very important that us women stick together and we don’t f**k each other over like that.”

“I want to thank her,” she said about Kim. “Because if she was never a homewrecker, then I never would have met Wiz, and I wouldn’t be as happy as I am now.”

When DJ Kool Herc came to New York City from his native Jamaica, he had no idea that he would be the creator of an entire genre of music, much less a culture. He just knew he liked to experiment with his records and lay down catchy lyrics that weren’t sung, but spoken–almost like poetry, but in rhythm. After inspiring all of the Bronx in the late 70′s with his movement, hip-hop was born and spread like wildfire. It started off as more of a positive expression of the frustration minority cultures faced when they simply left their front doors and looked around. There was violence, poverty and despair in the community and hip-hop was an escape from it all.

By the late 80′s and early 90′s, hip-hop had spread across the U.S. and artists like N.W.A., SchoollyD and Beastie Boys had changed its face and sound–glorifying violence, racism, sex, misogyny, gang activity, drugs, materialism among other negative subject matters. I mean, the N.W.A. carried firearms like they were some type of swat team. It was clear that violence saturated Gangsta rap, but that didn’t stop it from being a successful subgenre of hip-hop, thus changing the entire fun-filled escapism vibe to hard core. It seemed hip-hop now had something to prove–that there was power in their hyper-masculinity.

West coast gangsta rap influenced the East coast and bred Public Enemy, Rakim, Kool G Rap, EPMD, LL Cool J, Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane, amongst others. By now, hip-hop was a full-on cultural phenomenon. Artists like LL Cool were criticized for showing their softer side–from his “ladies love” moniker to his sing-song flow about needing love. LL was confident enough in himself to further evolve the music into a more emotional genre, instead of an angry, gun-toting boombastic sound.

Fast forward to our generation and you’ll hear various interpretations, from rock to straight-up cuddly (::cough:: Drake). When Jay-Z released Kingdom Come in 2006 after his supposed retirement masterpiece, The Black Album purists protested, calling Jay’s album weak, emotional and not at all the street sagas we were used to hearing from the Brooklyn-born and bred superstar.

But by 2009, when Kanye West released his emotional manifesto, sans rap, 808′s and Heartbreak, it seemed we were all a little more receptive to rappers that tap into their feelings and pour it all over a track. The album was a success and proved that hip-hop doesn’t have to stay in one box. Which is probably why Kanye felt comfortable donning a skirt and taking the stage for Watch the Throne. ::’Ye shrug::

Drake is now singing his way through hip-hop’s manly rebellion. One thing we noticed about him upon his debut was that the man could write an emotional song. Drake wasn’t afraid to rap/sing all the things that men think, but wouldn’t dare let us know. Thanks Drake. But let’s get one thing straight: being open to sharing your emotions on a track does not challenge your own masculinity, but it does challenge the machismo of hip-hop as a culture.

Hip-hop’s number one challenger at this point is Lil’ B. If you have never heard of this freshman class rapper, you’re missing out on a man that calls himself “rap’s Lady Gaga” because he’s fearless. And he is. Lil’ B has no qualms about wearing dangling earring-and-necklace sets and you’ve got to admire his moxie. He’s proven his ability to not only step outside the box, but stand atop it and proclaim that just because he’s hip-hop doesn’t mean he has to rap about degrading women, drugs, guns, etc.

Lil’ B’s subject matter ranges from Ellen DeGeneres and Miley Cyrus to abusive relationships, being yourself and the advancement of our people. He’s more than the jewelry he wears or his controversial album titles (I’m Gay). Lil’ B is a solid fixture of hip-hop’s metamorphosis. He’s doing something only a few rappers have tried through the years – breaking our mental chains of believing that hip-hop has to be hard and masculine. You can still make palpable moves in by being yourself and I believe that that’s more effective than perpetuating negative stereotypes.

The image of what hip-hop has become is a beautiful thing. The culture of hip hop is open to more than just objectifying women, glorifying gangster lifestyles and the like. So this is my very own thank you to all that rappers fearless enough to defy their own machismo.

The star-studded spectacle included celebs such as Ciara, The Olsen Twins, Lindsey Lohan, Anna Wintour Sylvia Fendi, Alexander Wang, Jeremy Scott. Kanye’s line “DW” is named after his mother Donda West who passed away in 2007.

“I’m so scared, I’m so nervous.” said Kanye. “The biggest conversation I hope I can end tonight is the whole ‘celebrity designer’ thing/ That’s the biggest hurdle when you want to get amazing people to work for you.” He told reporters.

When I was 15, I was homeless, me and my mom were homeless – my mother’s my only family – so I took it upon myself to go out and make money. I was a hustler, that’s what I did. I wasn’t a prostitute, I didn’t trick off. I was well respected in Sue’s [Strip Club]. People that know me over at Sue’s, they love me over there. There’s a lot of guys in the industry that go there – A LOT – and they all tried to holla and they never got the time of day with me because I went to work, I made my money and I went home, I paid my bills and I took care of my mother. That’s it. So the men in the industry that been there and saw me and tried to holla, they know what it is.

When I met my ex, it was chemistry. We fell in love, we did. We were very happy. We didn’t me there [at Sue's] He flew me out to do a “Robocop” video that never came out. We shot the video and hung out real tough. And we were just good friends and then we really fell in love. And I never moved back to New York after that. I was just with him. I stayed for two years. He didn’t want me to leave and I didn’t want to leave. We were very happy. But we’re human beings. S*** didn’t work out. It’s that simple.

On Being “Married” To Wiz Khalifa
No ring. We’re really really really in love. I never loved like this in my life. He is my life. I would die for him. That’s how much I love him. We will get married. We are going to have babies but we have time. We have the rest of our lives. We always say, we are going to be together forever. He’s my soulmate. We’re meant to be together. So when it happens it happens. We’re not in a rush.

The debate over Hip-Hop and the ‘b’ word is old as the genre itself; in fact, it’s hardly even a discussion anymore. Women who will curse you out to the end of the Earth for calling them out their names in real life, will gladly sing “bitch” at the top of their lungs as if they had something in common with Too Short. The most common excuse was well-documented by Chris Rock: “He ain’t talking about me!”  Meh. That argument loses steam when we know who one of the dudes is rapping about and, um, she’s one of the biggest stars in the world.

Kanye’s being Kanye on the track: mad at Amber Rose and sounding as bitter about women as always.  Androgynous singer Elly Jackson of the group La Roux sings a boring, soulless pop hook which has become an odd staple in rap music. And then there’s Jay, waxing poetic about how fly Beyonce is and the lack of Black women who are celebrated for their beauty:

“Go harder than a n-gga for a n-gga go figure
Told me “keep my own money” if we ever did split up
How can somethin’ so gangsta be so pretty in pictures?
With jeans and a blazer and some Louboutin slippers
Uh, Picasso was alive he woulda made her

I mean Marilyn Monroe, she’s quite nice
But why all the pretty icons always all white

All that nice stuff and she doesn’t deserve better than “that’s my bitch?” Don’t get me wrong, I believe Jay has the utmost respect and admiration for Beyonce. And I think it’s cool that after years of sending subtle shout-outs her way, he very explicitly praises her this time around. That’s dope; let the youngins know it’s cool to love your wife. But why she gotta be his “bitch?”

Jay has long since been a trendsetter and his influence on youth culture is immeasurable. Please do recall the throwback jersey to button-up shirt transition of the early part of the decade and the virtual disappearance of Cristal after his boycott of the brand. This song isn’t gonna put ‘bitch’ in the mouth of people who weren’t saying it before, but imagine if he said ‘my lady’ or ‘my queen’ or simply ‘my woman’ instead? All these little wannabe rappers would be right behind him.

I doubt that Jay would have released such a song if Beyonce had a problem with it and if that language works for them, I realize that criticism becomes a bit more challenging. I’m just not with any dude using that sort of term for his woman and when your partner has been praised by First Lady Michelle Obama for being a role model for young women and even participated in a national campaign for the youth in conjunction with the White House…perhaps that sort of pet name should remain within the confines of the Knowles-Carter home.

I’m absolutely not a music critic. Absolutely not. I’m a film person who loves music. I’ve directed four music docs, two about hip hop. Still I have no real appropriate skills for what I’m about to do, which is write about an album. With that said, I’m inspired by this beautiful thing entitled Watch the Throne and I must jot something down. However amateur.

It’s past 1 a.m. and I’ve now listened to Watch the Throne four full times, with very necessary repeats of my new personal anthem “Murder to Excellence.” Actually, “listened” might not be the right word. Bumped. Bumped is a word that’ll be appreciated by patrons of the new Huffington Post Black Voices, right? We can speak freely here, right?

HB: When you started recording Motivation, how big did you think it would get?

When the song came out and people started taking to it I was just so happy, it becomes your baby, your music is your baby and you just want everybody to love it as well. So when people started walking up to me saying ‘we like your new song Motivation,” I was like yay!’ It’s a really good feeling.

HB: What was it like working with Wayne in the studio?

I recorded Motivation and 2 days later I saw Wayne at a Miami Heat game and then he got on the record. We linked up in the studio and I went to go visit him and he was just so cool about everything. He’s like ‘I love the record’ and he got on it. He’s so cool, he’s one of the most genuine people, I love hanging out with him!

HB: Was it hard establishing yourself as a solo artist, what did you do differently than the last 2 albums?

For me it was just about not putting myself in a box as far as sound is concerned. So many people were like ‘Is she going to do a dance album,’ ‘Is she going to a R&B or urban record,’ ‘What is she going to do?’ It was just about being myself, putting together dance and R&B music and co-existing, why can’t it? So that’s what I did.

HB: What were you thinking when Trey Songz kissed your neck at the BET Awards?

You know what’s funny my cousin told me the next day, and I said ‘What are you talking about?’ She said ‘You didn’t see Trey Songz kiss your neck?’ ‘No’ So I looked at it and I didn’t know he did that until I saw it. I couldn’t even feel it, I don’t know if he kissed my hair but I couldn’t even feel it.

HB: Favorite Destiny’s Child song and why?

“Love” I love the moment that Michelle, Beyonce and myself shared in the studio that day because we were all together. It was our last record together, it was really beautiful, it was such a bonding moment.

HB: How do you feel about the dark skin, light skin issue in the black community especially being that your are labeled and referred to as dark skin. Do you ever find it offensive?

I really don’t take that kind of stuff in because I feel like when you say that, your just a beautiful woman period. I don’t think it should matter whether you’re dark skin, light skin, whatever, you should just be a beautiful black woman period. There is nothing wrong with chocolate-it needs to be worshiped and adored! I always called myself a chocolate girl and I love the fact that I am a chocolate girl. I went to a predominately white school and I remember not always embracing that as a kid and now…Kanye gave me my shot out I felt like I was the flyest chocolate chick walking around!

HB: Relationship With Kanye…

I just saw him the other night at the [Watch The Throne release party]. It was a lot of fun and the album is amazing. One word for that album WOW from start to finish!

HB: During “Motivation” you say “The music is still playing in the background,” who does Kelly listen to during sex?

Sade…absolutely. That moment that only she makes for me.
