Celebrity stylist June Ambrose’s clients include Rihanna, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Diddy, but her own style – think big frames and even bigger turbans – is just as worthy of being noted. So, it came as no surprise to us when we heard that she was getting her own reality show.

Here, she tells HB what we can expect:

Celebrity Stylist June Ambrose Gets Her Own Show On VH1!

Celebrity stylist June Ambrose has landed her own show on VH1. The docu-reality series will follow the fashionista as she and her assistants revamp the looks of actors and artists.

For the last 20 years, June has dressed Diddy, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and more. There’s not word if these A-listers will appear on the show, scheduled to premiere early next year, but we can hope!

Here’s what VH1 had to say:

In “The June Ambrose Project,” June and her team of tireless assistants will take on a mix of up-and-coming and established celebrity clients – some actors, some musicians — who would like to re-imagine their looks and brands. Each episode will chronicle an image makeover and overall rebranding, culminating in a visually stunning event designed to focus on the celebrity’s new look.

In addition to makeovers, viewers will get to see how June juggles her family life, CEO of her celebrity styling house Mode Squad and her burgeoning empire. Adding to June’s to-do list is a record label, books and a plethora of assignments ranging from celebrity clients, fashion shows and photo shoots to emergency style interventions for friends she can never turn down.

We can’t wait. It’s about time VH1 features something other than basketball wives and brawls.

New York Fashion Week has kicked off and celebrities are enjoying all their easy access into runway shows, front rows, backstage passes, and after parties.

Beyonce finally brought her baby bump backstage, while Solange kept it eclectic with her mismatched style at the Tracy Reese and Luca Luca shows.

Nicki Minaj stole the show with her over-the-top get-ups at the Prabal Gurung and Carolina Herrera shows, while couples Alicia and Swizz, and Lala and Carmelo took in the sights together at Alexander Wang and Rag + Bone.

And, ever the model, Selita Ebanks turned heads while chatting it up with Tika Sumpter and legendary actress Angela Bassett.

Tracy Reese, one of HB’s favorite designers, celebrated the 5th anniversary of her flagship boutique in New York last night where fashionistas Tika Sumpter and June Ambrose joined in on the fun. Both ladies wore multi-patterned frocks designed by Reese, herself.

Model Veronica Webb also attended, in an understated menswear-inspired get-up.

The turbans come in a variety of rich jewel tones (teal, fuschia, gold) and prints (leopard, dotted). Make sure to match the name to your personality, are you Tangy, Sassy, Decadent?

We would’ve tried this trend out…had her price point not been $125-$150!

Celebrity stylist June Ambrose has been named one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Stylists by the Hollywood Reporter. How were the winners determined? By their “A-list clients, red-carpet hits (and misses) and profitable gigs such as TV hosting, book deals, commercials.”

June made the cut at #23, for her work with Diddy, Jay-Z, Kelly Ripa and Mariah Carey. She also penned the book “Effortless Style.”

Rihanna’s stylist, Mariel Haenn, was also listed as part of a team with Rob Zangardi.
