Chris Brown’s performance at the 2012 Billboard Awards caused more of a stir than it should have! Breezy just can’t seem to get a break…if we aren’t criticizing his acceptance speeches we are attacking the way he sings/dances or that he won in the first place.

That’s where John Legend’s fiance–Chrissy Teigen–comes in. She was one of the many critics who had something to say about Chris Brown lip synching at the popular award show. TeamBreezy quickly intervened and delivered a disrespectful tongue lashing to the Sports Illustrated model

Must Hear: John Legend's "Tonight" From "Think Like A Man" Soundtrack

John Legend is back. We haven’t heard him on the radio since 2008′s “Green Light” but we have a feeling his latest track will get tons of airplay.

On “Tonight” from the “Think Like A Man” soundtrack, his trademark raspy vocals lilt over a slowed-down electro jam with just enough knock-and-hiss that we can see it being played as the final song in a club before the lights turn on.

John gets cocky on the chorus – “Baby, tonight’s the night I let you know / Baby, tonight’s the night we lose control / Baby, tonight you need that, tonight believe that / Tonight, I’ll be the best you ever had / I don’t wanna brag, but I’ll be / The best you ever had” – while Ludacris, less subtle with his words, turns the sexy up.

It will be available on 1/31 on iTunes.

Though Chrissy is extremely active on Twitter (she also has her own cooking blog), she has made no mention of the news yet, but congrats to the happy couple anyway!

A native of Grenada, Noel-Schure chose to express her island roots throughout the lavish event with tropical scenes of banana trees and Caribbean national flags, designed by Noel-Schure herself. The Strand Hotel proved to be a perfect place for the festivities given its design history that celebrates iconic fashion figures and its popular rooftop bar and lounge designed by Sex & The City set designer Lydia Marks. The American Bistro Restaurant served up a Caribbean-inspired menu specially prepared by Executive Chef Kelvin Fernandez.

Mariah Carey and John Legend have joined forces on the remix of her holiday song “When Christmas Comes.” The original version appeared on her 2010 album “Merry Christmas II You.”

Mariah recently Tweeted a video of herself driving through the snow with the newly-revised track playing in the background. She wrote: “Coming soon, a legendary musical collabo. #WhenChristmasComes Sorry for the camera work, the snow made it pip! So.. that was a snippet of the RnB Christmas collabo – me & the legendary John, soon to be topping your Christmas list! P.S. It’s a SGSHW!”

John Legend To Join Sade On Summer Tour

Sade has recruited John Legend to join her on the North American leg of her summer tour. Though he’ll serve as her opening act, we’ve got our fingers crossed that they’ll perform some sort of duet.

The two will hit the road beginning June 16 at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena, and finish up on August 30 at Anaheim’s Honda Center.

The duo will also go head-to-head this Sunday at the Grammy’s, as they are both nominated for the “Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals” award; Sade for “Soldier of Live”and John for “Shine” featuring The Roots.

Ne-Yo, Estelle, and DJ Pauly D (from “Jersey Shore”) came out to support the singer. John’s actual birthday was December 28, but he was busy spending the holidays and vacationing in Asia with his girlfriend’s family.

FROM RAP-UP: John Legend and The Roots revive the spirit of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ 1975 classic “Wake Up Everybody” with some help from Common and Melanie Fiona.

The soulful cover appears on Mr. Legend’s conscious collaboration with The Roots, Wake Up!, due Sept. 21.

The Grammy-winning crooner said the original song didn’t need any alterations.

“‘Wake Up Everybody’ has four verses—the first one is a general statement, the second is about education, third is about health care, and the fourth is about making a better environment. No editing needed,” he stated.

FROM MTV: John Legend is on the brink of releasing his next album, Wake Up Sessions, with the Roots. According to Legend, he’s been a fan of the Philadelphia band since his college days, when he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania.

The singer told MTV News,

“We’re, like, 99 percent done. We’ve done all the recording, and now we’re mixing half the album, and it’s coming out in September. I’m very excited about it. It’s gonna be a very interesting, very cool album. And like I said, I’m a big fan of the Roots. I’m excited to be able to put out an album with the Roots. This is a group I’ve been following since I was a kid at UPenn. I would go to open mics and watch them host the open mics, wishing I could be onstage with them, and now I’m in the studio with them making this album, and it’s pretty exciting.”

Legend and the Roots joined forces last month to perform at a 40th-anniversary Earth Day event.

John Legend‘s little brother Vaughn Anthony put on a show last night at New York City’s SOB’s. The show, hosted by John, showcased some of Vaughn’s new songs and featured guest artists Estelle, Rick Ross, and Ryan Leslie. However, one thing stood out for me during the whole showcase:

Vaughn Anthony sounds exactly like his brother, except he’s way hotter.

I like muscles – that’s no secret – and while John Legend is a good looking dude, if I had to holler at one, it would defiintely be Vaughn. He’s like Diet Dr. Pepper – all the taste of John legend, but it’s better for your body. But maybe you’re into the slightly smaller, but still cute big brother John.

So I have to ask: WOULD YOU HOLLER?
