Ribbon - Use Christmas ribbon and begin strategically wrapping anything from candle holders to a stack of books.

Christmas Lights. Holiday lights are worth stringing up in a few spots. Consider around the windows, doors and even draped over the bed for just the right festive touch.

Scented Candles. Holiday scents or even beautiful aromatherapy candles really add a splash.

Garland and Wreaths. Drape archways in garland and wreaths on bedroom doors.

Create a sophisticated urban look by adding autumn colors such as orange and earthy shades of green.

Use fallen leaves to create placeholders for your guests. Write each guest’s name on the leaf with a permanent marker.
