Nowadays, lust has taken over for the creating of life because, usually, it’s not planned and/or expected between the individuals. The lack of protection and/or the lack of realizing the consequences have taken a giant step behind anything that would make sense. Oftentimes, this leads to a marriage of convenience (for the sake of the child and not because of love between the individuals involved) which, based on the reason for the union, ends up in divorce or extreme bitterness between the former ‘lovers’. So, the natural sequence has been broken up in the name of lust.

Some would say that some people just grow apart or just fall out of love. That may be the case in some situations, but when one is led down the path based on what is perceived as sexual gratification and not love for the other individual, the thought process becomes what it shouldn’t be, ESPECIALLY when the parties have no other chemistry between them. The drive between meeting lustful demands on both individuals, clouds the ‘feelings’ one has for the other and sometimes, vice versa.

Yes, being with a member of the opposite sex and enjoying the intimacy of that individual creates a feeling of togetherness not shared by others who are not. If we can get back to the intricacies of what love between 2 individuals is supposed to about, then maybe marriage will be a real institution instead of a convenience for the results of unbridled lust.

Check out these photos of TLC’s Chilli with boxing champ Floyd Mayweahter at a black-tie event at Charles Mathis’ Atlanta home last night. We hear that Chilli was prancing around with the athelete and even calling him “baby.” What ever happened to Larry Johnson???

The scoop is that the appearance was just for show and that the two are not really a couple. Remember, Chilli’s got a reality show she’s taping at the moment. Hmmm.

The folks over at ybf.com got the scoop on what really went down at Alonzo Mourning’s Summer Groove event. Apparently at the after party Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade didn’t want to be seen arriving together so took separate cars and made separate entrances,

Gabby didn’t want to show up with Dwyane, so before they entered the club, she decided to wait in the limo for 20 minutes.  D-Wade wanted to stroll in with Alonzo so that they wouldn’t be pictured together.

Why do people rush into marriages?  If you’re considering getting married, you better be sure that your signficant other is really “the one.” Which poses the question, how long should you wait to get engaged?

Getting engaged is a big deal. It says you are ready to take the big plunge into life as a married couple. It doesn’t necessarily matter how long you have been together (though usually the longer the better), you will know when you are ready. This is one of the most important steps in your relationship and it should not be taken lightly.

With that in mind, here are two things you may want to consider before saying yes:

CONSIDER THE LENGTH OF TIME YOU HAVE BEEN WITH THE PERSON

People get married after knowing each other weeks and live happily ever after, but we all know that does not happen in our world. You should be with your significant other at least a year before getting engaged. At that point, the “infatuation stage” will wear off and his little annoyances will be on display. When this happens you will be able to see how you argue as a couple and how you resolve arguments.

CONSIDER YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION

Weddings are not cheap and money problems are one of the most common causes of arguments in a marriage. While finances should not be an excuse to not get married, you should never get into debt over a wedding. Once you know you’re getting engaged, you should start saving. Make sure you and your significant other are on the same page where you would like to be financially when married. If you are not yet there and are ok with waiting, it may not be the right time to get engaged.

So it looks like everyone was right about this rumor! People.com reports that Brad and Angie’s people are saying that the couple has not split up. Remember, they have been allegedly “fighting” a lot recently so maybe there might be more turmoil to come…

RUMOR: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Offically Split!

I thought this was highly unlikely when I found this story on the net but it looks like the couple actually may be headed for a permanent break up says showbizspy.com:

Brad has told pals that he “can’t take Angie’s volatile temper anymore” and recently met up with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston to seek advice.

Then get this, Angelina wants sole custody of the six (yes, six) kids and wants to pay Brad off with $90 million. If this is true then it looks like things are going to get really ugly…

Angelina thinks Brad is a brilliant father. But I think he is insulted and above all hurt that despite all he and Angelina have shared together and the children they’ve had, it’s coming down to money.
