Jennifer Hudson’s  nephew’s father, Gregory Hill, who is trying to pursue a career in music must be pretty desperate for attention.He claims to be the father of Jennifer’s nephew Julian, who was murdered along with other members of her family.

Hill takes us back to the crime scene and talks a whole lot of ish about Jennifer:

We just can’t imagine Chicago without Oprah, and guess what?  She may not be leaving after all.

Yesterday the internet was all abuzz about a report that Oprah Winfrey is getting ready to move her show to Los Angeles.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Winfrey spokesman Don Halcombe denied a definitive plan exists, insisting “she has not made a decision yet” about her show’s future beyond 2011. He affirmed her earlier promise of an announcement by year’s end. While Winfrey still keeps a Chicago condo for when her show’s in production, in recent years she’s spent increasingly more time at her estate in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” has been based in Chicago since its national launch in 1986. At her Michigan Avenue street party in September, she declared Chicago “the most fabulous city in the world!”

It will feature Jennifer singing holiday classics at different locations from her childhood. Performance locations include her family church, her old high school, music academy and other places that hold special childhood memories.

Hudson, who recently performed alonside Miley Cyrus and Kelly Clarkson at the ‘VH1 Divas’ concert in New York, had her first child earlier this year and should be welcomed by her fans when the show airs sometime in December.

R&B singer/songwriter R. Kelly recently revealed that despite his musical talents, he suffers from illiteracy and barely made it through grade school. According to eurweb.com, at the recent Midwest Music Festival in Chicago, Kelly brought up his short-comings while discussing the ups and downs of his career.

“When I was trying to make it out here, I already knew, and I was stubborn about it,” he said. “I don’t even read really and I’m not afraid to say that. My cousins and brothers used to tease me ‘you can’t even read right.

“How you think you’re going to come up?’ The only reason I graduated from grammar school is because I had a great jump shot. I went to high school and [my teacher] told me ‘you will be one of the greatest writers of all time.’ I believed. You [have to] believe it. You can’t believe [anything] if you’re hating. You can’t achieve [anything] if you’re hating.”

Despite his trials and tribulations during the child molestation case, Kelly has been working hard on his upcoming album. He maintains his innocence despite the leak of the sex tape of him with an underage girl back in 2001. “I got ya’ll beat if you’re hating on me,” he said. “Because I love you. That’s why I keep doing what I do.”

Kelly’s forthcoming album is due in stores Oct. 12.

After months of denying that they’re a couple, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade were spotted in Chicago this week having a dinner date night:

“Dwayne Wade and girlfriend ate at Feast tonight and earned big props from the staff for being generous with their tip. Not huge news, but lots of notables are less generous.”

Sources say, Feast owner Debbie Sharpe confirmed Gabrielle Union indeed dined with Wade at the Gold Coast restaurant, and the couple left a SEVENTY PERCENT TIP. Nice!!!!

For those of you who don’t know this, Dwyane is from Chicago and we’re betting that Gabby was there to meet the parents!!!

Jennifer performed Saturday night at the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago, and according to the chicagotribune.com got to the point in her touring script where she asks her audience if there any fighters in the house?

JHud is pregnant.

After asking the pre-planned question, she realized its absurdity. “I don’t need to ask if there are any fighters in Chicago,” she said, starting hesitantly, but soon pounding out the words.

” ‘Cause that’s where I’m from. And I know I’m a fighter.”

We’re just glad to see JHud back on stage doing her thing.
