The Beyonce and Jay-Z baby bump managed to completely overtake this year’s entire MTV Video Music Awards. Beyonce bounced and sanggg her way through “Love On Top” as her husband proudly saluted. When Bey dropped the mic and rubbing her belly and telling us all she had love growing inside of her she wanted us to feel, nothing else after, or before, mattered. There’s some folks and or moments that still deserve some type of honorable mention.

Chris Brown donned all white and sang, then flew his way through Wu Tang’s “Protect Ya Neck,” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and a few of his own hits. He has redeemed himself and the performance was proof that Chris is a legend in the making.

Lady Gaga showed up as Joe Calderone while Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry showed up as Lady Gaga. I’m all about the theater that Gaga brought to her performance. She committed the entire night.

Britney Spears was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Britney’s been a pop icon since she burst onto the scene with “Baby One More Time” in 1999. So the length of her tribute came as a shocker.

Bruno Mars’ tribute to Amy Winehouse perfectly suited the “Rehab” singer’s 1950′s vibe.

Britney Spears decided to take control of her bad habits by setting some interesting rules for her Femme Fatale Tour. She will not let her cravings get in her way by banning junk food from each city stop that is on her tour. But Spears isn’t stopping there: she’s even banning anyone from bringing alcohol around her.

… it gets better.

Not only is Britney Spears banning her unhealthy cravings, but she’s also demanding that Michael Jackson’s music be played constantly while she is in her dressing room getting ready.

Rihanna and Britney Spears performed “S&M” together at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night where they finished their remix off with an on-stage kiss. Not surprisingly, the Parents Television Council has come a’knockin’.

According to E!, the PTC President wrote in a press release,

“What happened in Vegas should have stayed in Vegas, as the saying goes. It certainly has no place at 8:00 p.m. on the publicly-owned broadcast airwaves.”

“I cannot imagine what would possibly lead the ABC television network to air a profanity-laced, S&M sex show on primetime broadcast television. The overtly sexualized performance by Rihanna and Britney Spears was no accident or mishap, but a deliberate effort to target teens with images and lyrics that glamorize whips, chains and other sexual fantasies.”

We’re on the fence about this. Yes, the dry-humping of stripper poles wasn’t exactly appropriate for the early time-slot, but the song is called “S&M” and the performance was significantly toned down from the video. Besides, the camera turned away from the kiss. It’s unclear if it was even mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-cheek.

This year’s Billboard Music Awards were definitely the highlight of the weekend. The show opened with a performance from Rihanna and her good friend Britney Spears with the “S&M Remix”. Both ladies looked hot and rocked the stage with their sexy dance moves and outfits. I’m really loving Rihanna’s white costume with her red hair!

Nicki Minaj was spotted in Los Angeles, CA this past weekend partying with what seems to be her new bff; Britney Spears. The two were seen together at the Factory Club in West Hollywood. As we’ve told you before, Nicki is opening up for Britney’s Femme Fatale tour which kicks off this coming June.

The girls were obviously excited to see each other, as Britney tweeted: “Hanging with my girl @NickiMinaj at her after party at The Factory. Love you girl.”

And Nicki responded: “VIP w/Britney and Khloe. Its waaayyy too sexxxy in here right now! Ha!”

Nicki and Britney recently just released a single together along with Kesha entitled “Till The World Ends Remix”. Khloe Kardashian was also spotted at the same club on the same night with her bestie, Malika Hagg from the movie, ATL. Looks like it was ladies night at the Factory Club this weekend!

Fun times.

It seems that all the hip-hop and r&b girls are in the business of collaborating with pop stars these days. First Rihanna collaborated with Britney Spears and topped the music charts last week with the “S&M” remix, and now Nicki Minaj is jumping on the bandwagon and collaborating with Britney Spears and Kesha for the remix to Brit’s new single, “Till The World Ends”. I see Britney is winning these days on the music scene- first Rih and now Nicki? Go girl!

Nicki hinted that she had something up her sleeve when she chatted with MTV’s Sway a little while ago stating, “I handed in a verse to a very special lady that may rock people’s world’s a little bit.”

Perhaps this is just a little preview for whats to come of the Britney Spears tour this summer, which features Nicki. And yes, I definitely will be in attendance! Check out the new song below!

Rihanna has scored her tenth #1 single with her “S&M” remix featuring Britney Spears. She is now tied with Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder, as they all hold the 7th position amongst all artists with the most chart-toppers in the history.

Mariah Carey remains the solo artist with the most #1 singles: 18!

However, Rihanna surpassed Mariah Carey in two other titles: achieving 10 #1 songs faster than any solo act and being the youngest person to accomplish that feat thus far. SOURCE

Rihanna and Britney Spears finally released the remake of Rih Rih’s hit song off of her “Loud” album, “S&M”. I have to say, this song is HOT and even though I’m not a HUGE Britney fan, she definitely brings the heat in her verse. We told you previously that this is a huge treat for Rihanna’s fans, since Britney was the artist that Rihanna’s fans wanted to see the singer collaborate with the most.

This is the type of song that makes you just want to blast in your stereo while singing into your hair brush, water bottle or whatever it is that you use as a pretend microphone. (Don’t act like you don’t!)

It’s official! In what is probably one of the worst kept secrets Hollywood has seen for a while, Nicki Minaj’s reps have announced that she will be the opening act for Britney Spears’ upcoming tour, replacing Enrique Iglesias.

The rumors of who will be her opening act have been swirling, with both Nicki Minaj and Usher’s names being cast as hot favorites, according to TMZ. Although the tour has been racked with problems following the departure of Iglesias, it is still set to be the hottest ticket in town. Her latest album, ‘Femme Fatale,’ debuted at No. 1 on the charts, selling more than 276,000 copies in its first week alone, so I can only imagine how hot the show is going to be now that Nicki has agreed to come aboard!

Days after Iglesias dropped out of the tour, reportedly due to his inflamed ego not being able to handle being a “support” act to Spears, (I’m sorry, how many hit albums has he had? I know; a bunch less than she has) Usher‘s name was being dropped as Spears ideal replacement. However, as his management company AEG Live is in direct competition with the tour promoter Live Nation, Usher joining the Britney circus never seemed like it was a possibility.

For a while it didn’t look as though Nicki Minaj joining the tour would turn out to be anything more than a pipe dream either. She is currently touring with Lil Wayne on his I Am Still Music tour and Spears’ tour begins June 17, not leaving much time for a rest in between shows. Luckily though, both Nicki and Britney’s management were able to swing this one, considering that if there is one person who could make a Britney show more crazy (in a good way), it’s definitely Nicki Minaj!

Rihanna is teaming up with pop star Britney Spears to remix her raunchy hit song off her “Loud‘ album, “S&M”. The new single is set to hit radio stations this week! Rihanna previously asked her Twitter followers who they would like to see her collaborate with the most, and the responses for Britney Spears was overwhelming. Well, Rihanna being a woman of her word, is giving her fans exactly what they’ve asked for.

Rihanna took to Twitter to confirm rumors of the collab tweeting: “I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand.”

She then went on to tweet: “Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!! One of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta #EPIC.”

And added: “MAJAH Rihmix to S&M MAJAH!!!! #S&Mrihmix #itsBRITNEYbitch.”

Love them both, so I’m sure anything they touch together will be FIRE!

Nicki Minaj may tour with Britney Spears. The two are said to be in negotiations, according to TMZ, with the Young Money star serving as the pop diva’s opening act.

However, we’ve also heard that Usher would be joining Spears on stage, so we’re not sure which rumors are true anymore. Either way, Britney needs an opener to replace Enrique Iglesias, who dropped out at the last minute.
