Unfortunately, My Chemical Romance ruined any interest I may have ever had in a military-style jacket. So when I saw this Balmain denim military-style jacket, for 5 grand, my first reaction was, “dude, hell no.” Seen at different angles on Net-a-Porter.com, the jacket is actually cute, but you’d probably grow tired of it after a wear or two.

Here’s Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in a Balmain minidress at the premiere of The Last Emperor last night in New York City.

This is the thing about this dress – while she wears it like an absolute champ, I’m willing to bet that absolutely no one but Selita Ebanks can wear this dress and not look like a hot piece of trash. So, kudos to Selita for making it hot, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone else buy it and try to make it look nearly as good.
