Solange has gone on another rant. Though her sister broke records last Sunday night at the Grammys by achieving the most wins by a female artist in a single year, Solange still doesn’t feel Bey is getting the respect she deserves. She took to Twitter to take some subliminal jabs at Taylor Swift, who ultimately went home with the “Album of The Year” award.

Keri Hilson looked like a 1950′s diva when she left for the 2010 Grammys. Her peach dress with jeweled waistband was fit to a T and
hugged every curve with care. I was inspired to play up her beautiful hazel eyes and also give a touch of edge to her Hollywood
glam goddess look.

Before applying makeup, always start with clean, toned and moisturized skin.  I use Mary Kay’s TimeWise Targeted-Action Eye
Revitalizer to refresh tired eyes. I love Enessa Neroli Oil Spray to tone skin and make skin glow.  To finish, prep skin with La Mer
moisturizer.

The Perfect Face

I love Keri to look flawless because she has such a beautiful bone structure.  I use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer to give makeup
long wearability, then I apply COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Compact Foundation to create a flawless finish. I create a sculpted glowing face using COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Light Bronze.   I also use it to contour the nose and cheekbones.
Radiant Cheeks

I love the soft peach tones of her dress so I accented Keri’s cheeks with Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Strawberry Cream which
has a subtle cotton candy rose tone with a beautiful shimmer to it, so cheeks just glow.

Standout Eyes

Keri wanted to have a jewel toned smoke so I chose a beautiful deep purple shade from Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Sweet Plum on her lids and lower lash line.  As a base to intensify the purple shadow I applied COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume.
Then I created depth using Tigi Bed Head Big Fat Fun Liner in Purple and COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara in Black to top the
look, coating both bottom and top lashes three times.  I used Ja’Maal Busters Lash Line to add that extra drama for red carpet
flare.

Luscious Lips

I didn’t want to do just a nude lip and smoky eye so instead I went retro— think Kevyn Aucoin meets Naomi Campbell in the 90′s
with a deeper liner using Mary Kay Lip Liner in Berry.  I lined lips then used a brush to blend the liner out so it had soft edges then
used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lip Gloss in Pearled Peach in the center of the lips to create the perfect pout.

Glorious Brows

Brows frame the face and I love Keri’s brows because…

Announced earlier this week, the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will play host to a memorable performance of Drake’s “Forever” remix featuring, Lil Wayne, Eminem and – what the hell? – Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker?

Where’s Kanye and his “You would think I ran the world like Michelle’s husband…”?

For unspecified reasons, Kanye West, who is also featured on “Forever,” was not named in the announcement as a performer.

Also, his “808s & Heartbreak” album wasn’t nominating for anything – shocking considering every album he has made since he stepped onto the scene has taken home the “Best Rap Album” award (“College Dropout” in 2005, “Late Registration” in 2006, and “Graduation” in 2008).

On Sunday at the Grammys, viewers will get a chance to see never-before-seen footage of Michael Jackson, during a tribute to the late great King Of Pop.

Some of the clip will feature material from the documentary This Is It, but the majority will be a 3-D video that MJ shot for “Earth Song,” a track off his 1995 album, HIStory. The show will also feature performances in honor of MJ by Jennifer Hudson, Usher and more.

But there’s one singer that wasn’t chosen to contribute. Here’s what Omarion had to say about being snubbed:

“If I’m not a part of that, then that’s not… I’m not gonna say it’s wack, but I’m just saying, everyone knows what I do, so if you gon’ have an MJ tribute… I take that back because Stevie [Wonder] did an MJ tribute. Everyone loved Michael. I’m not gon’ say that. I’m just meaning the performance [aspect]. How you gon’ have a Michael tribute without the playboy? [Laughs].

That’s my only thing, and I mean this in the humblest and the most competitive way. I’m competitive — that’s what the game is about. Especially after Mike passed away, I feel like the stage, it’s more important now. It’s a responsibility to me when I hit the stage to not play with it. If you walk back and forth that’s cool, too. If that’s how you entertain, that’s cool, but for the performances and for the dances and for the people that look up to Michael in the fashion I look up to Michael? I hope they bring it. Because if they don’t, then I will.”

BEP‘s track was such a feel-good song that it transcended age, gender, and musical preference (yes, at one point, you saw a parent, child, rap- and rock-head bump to this and indulge in a “OOH-oooh!”). And it came when we needed it most – during a year when everything that could go wrong, did. As much as we love Lady Gaga, we can’t see the Recording Academy giving the acclaimed award to any song with such a prominent sexual innuendo: “poke her face”?

From “Single Ladies” to “If I Were A Boy” to “Halo” to “Diva” to “Ego” to “Sweet Dreams” and finally “Video Phone,” Bey gave us an entire years worth of songs to sing to – without so much as taking a breath in between – and videos for each, just so we could practice (and fail miserably) at attempting to emulate the choreography. But then again, Gaga broke several records this year: She was the first artist in the 17-year history of the Billboard Pop Songs countdown to score four number ones from the same debut album. Let’s see the ladies go head-to-head. And please, no, not in another collabo.

So, this award is for the songwriter, not the performer (unless, of course, they’re the same person). And we’d really like to see Maxwell’s writers win, only because “I got gloss on my hips, a man on hips, got me tighter than my Dereon jeans” doesn’t exactly scream “talent,” as much as it does “shameless self-promotion.” But Swift, all 20 years of her, writes all her stuff. And while her songs may be a little too “puppy love & fairytales” for us, the songs are, with little to no outside help, written in her very own words.

We’d love to see Keri win, but we don’t think the Recording Academy will recognize her. Sure, she emerged from underneath Timbaland’s shadow as a successful solo artist, but her name wasn’t on everyone’s tongue nor her face in every magazine. And her videos could have been played in a much heavier rotation. Not that we want to get sick of her anytime soon, but a little over-exposure would have helped.

Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Nominees: “Hometown Glory” – Adele / “Halo” – Beyoncé / “Hot N’ Cold” – Katy Perry / “Sober” – Pink / “You Belong With Me” – Taylor Swift

Adele is amazing. Period. But unless you’re in the UK, it’s not likely that you’ve heard her stuff. And besides, when we think “pop,” we don’t think of ballads. So hand this award over to Katy Perry because this genre is what she does best. Adele uses hints of jazz in her mainstream music, as does Taylor with country, Pink with rock and Bey with R&B, so if you’re looking for an organic pop song, “You’re hot then you’re cold, you’re yes then you’re no, you’re in then you’re out, you’re up than you’re down,” may be where it’s at.

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Nominees: “Ego” – Beyoncé & Kanye West / “Knock You Down” – Keri Hilson, Kanye West & Ne-Yo / “Run This Town” – Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West / “I’m On A Boat” – The Lonely Island & T-Pain / “Dead And Gone” – T.I. & Justin Timberlake

This one, however, we will give to Keri Hilson. “Knock You Down” was a hit from the moment we heard it. Wanting to sing about a classic love triangle gone wrong, she enlisted just the right men: the over-emotive, always aggressive Kanye West and the sincere balladeer that aims to please Ne-yo. While “Run This Town” was popular, it took a while to get there (blame that on RiRi’s vocals) and didn’t exactly hit any other mainstream stations, except for those exclusively dedicated to playing hip-hop.

Rihanna says she won’t be bringing a date to Sunday’s Grammys.

“I’m going to the Grammys alone, as always!” she said Thursday on 104.3 MY FM’s Valentine in the Morning show in Los Angeles. “Even when I was in a relationship, I always have gone alone.”

She then blurted out, “I’m still single, if that’s what you really want to ask!”

But what about Matt Kemp, who she was seen with in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico? “It was a blast!” is all she would say about the trip.

Rihanna’s appearance at the Feb. 8, 2009 Grammy Awards was canceled last-minute, following a violent incident with then-boyfriend Chris Brown. Brown later pleaded guilty to felony assault, and was sentenced to five years of probation.

She also believes that the last-minute cancellation was the reason why she wasn’t invited to perform at this year’s Grammy’s, saying: “We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me.”

Keri Hilson recently did a shoot with OK! Magazine and here’s what they had to say about her:

Keri Hilson has it all going for her. At 27-years-old she is already an accomplished songwriter, writing hits for Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige, and now she is being recognized for her singing ability as a famed recording artist. Keri received two Grammy nominations — Best New Artist and Best Rap/Song Collaboration for “Knock You Down” featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo.

At a photo shoot with OK! the lovely, lively songstress says she is low maintenance, while modeling some top fashions. “I think sex appeal is all about confidence,” Keri tells OK!

Keri always looks in shape, but she admits to OK! that she does not have a big exercise routine. “I used to be a national swimmer when I was 14,” she said explaining her toned, lean physique.

Even though she does not work out, Keri said eating healthy is an important part of feeling good. So what will Keri be wearing on the Grammy red carpet?

“I really don’t know yet,” she says. “I guess my aim would be to stand out. I want it to be kind of the humble approach of being at the Grammys for the first time, first album. So I want that, something great but not something like ‘I’m here. I’ve arrived.’

Nine-time GRAMMY® winner Mary J. Blige and world-renowned pop tenor Andrea Bocelli will join forces and perform live together in a special fund-raising segment for Haiti relief on the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards.

This once-in-a-lifetime performance (audio and video) of the Simon & Garfunkel classic “Bridge Over Troubled Water” will be made available for download at iTunes/target.com following the telecast, and all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross, benefiting ongoing earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. This year marks the 40th anniversary of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” receiving GRAMMY Awards for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year, and the song will provide a moving tribute to the survivors of the tragic events in Haiti.

The music industry’s premier event will take place live on Sunday, Jan. 31, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on the CBS Television Network from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
