Outdoor weddings during the summer require a different degree of planning than indoor weddings. There are some things you should take into consideration when planning for the comfort of your guests:
-If you’re having an outdoor ceremony, provide your guests with a beverage station or butlered beverages. Summer weddings can be hot and you don’t want to have a guest pass out.
-Consider doing fan programs so that guests can use them to create a breeze.
-Notify guests to wear comfortable shoes in anticipation of an outdoor event. No one wants to wear cute, expensive heels in the grass.
-If your budget allows, try to get a tent for shade. The heat of the sun can be exhausting for guests, especially when your event can last anywhere from 3 to 5 hours.
