Solange is doing her and EVERYBODY should be proud. She’s a single mother and she’s breaking away from the BIG SISTER BEYONCE SHADOW!! Thats a big accomplishment!! You look great!!

Solange is wassup!!!! Everybody expects her to be like Beyonce. She is who she is. And personally I kinda dig her better, because she has attitude, style and grace of her own. She’s not for the meek and mild hearted, and she don’t give a damn about what people say about her. And in my book, thats a plus. So many people change themsleves into what people think they should be, but she is Solange…and she’ll let you know it. Big ups to you girl…do yo thang!!!!!

I think the ensembly is HOT!!! She does look dated but not too over the top, she looks like the 80′s when things were smooth and mellow and it was all about the music!! This is reminiscent of SOFT ROCK and thats exactly what she does. She ROCKS!!! Love the look Solange. Besides she’s a performer its her job to experiment.

I love it!! Its so funky and over the top. Would you wear it out? probably not, but i guess thats why its so fly because not in a million years would any one of us streak blue eyeshadow over our eyes a nd proceed to set foot outside.I must say she did it well and it fits into her style and personality.I just couldnt see her in everyday Dereon or Beyonce wear.

She IS & LOOKS cute & more important, she looks like SOLANGE not Beyonce! I don’t think she ever wanted to emulate her sister but the public forces it on her. I LUV that she DARES 2 B DIFFERENT (a problem for alot of people)!. People need to stop comparing folks simply b/c they’re siblings; siblings are meant to be ‘alike in different ways’ (ex.: as kids, my sis, bro & I were instilled values & manners yet my brother ‘smacks’ when he eats while my sister & I still live by the ‘smack & get smacked’ family rule & none of us still go to church; we’re alike in different ways! But I digressed…I prefer Solange & her music over ‘B’s’ anyday; her talent iz natural not sexual; its emphasis is on the ability & the music, not the ‘damn near naked’ videos, ‘sexploitation’ & ‘J’. Don’t change who you are for the industry Solange, $$$ ISN’T everything. But that blue eyeshadow across both eyes IS a little bit creepy looking!

I think its good that she doesn’t run around looking like all of the clones running around. Today all the women look the same. She stands out so that’s whats good. If she wants to paint her face so what ? I actually think she looks cute. At least shes doing her own thang and thats what people should do more of.

I think she’s trying so hard to get out of her sister’s supersized shadow till she’s willing to do && wear anything to draw attention to herself. She needs to loose the make up, SERIOUSLY!

Maybe if we could see a full picture of the whole outfit then I’ll be able to judge it, but I’m going to have to go with Reality _Check 21, I’m not feeling that blue unibrow makeup. Don’t their mom design clothing?

Oh now I see it, no Solange, that’s not hot. Although the shoes and the bag are, but not together with that outfit. I’m not going to say it’s gross, but I have seen her look better.

That unibrow blue make up is not getting it. maybe if the outfit had that blue in it, then it would have been alright. I do get why she dresses that way, but she has such a different sound she can’t be compared to her sister.

the vest looks like something the dorky kids would have worn in the 5th grade. the shoes and bag are cute. Im not so sure about the skirt and to me the t-shirt looks messy.

Ok I will say that Solange has her own style but, that vest she could’ve kept off. That skirt is a “I don’t know” and the shirt isn’t that bad in my opinion. The shoe’s and bag are cute. She should’ve wore those with something else. And why do she kept putting that unibrow makeup on? Not cute.

I don’t like this look at all. I think she tries real hard to be different and step outside the box to break away from her sister’s shadow. She really needs to be herself.

I’ve seen better but she doesn’t look horrible. I would wear everything she has on just NOT all together (not to mention all at once). Ashlee Simpson and her share a great deal in common. Solange does indeed dare to be different and a big part of that is her finding her “niche” and trying to be the COMPLETE opposite of her sister so: #1) people won’t compare them #2) she can get attention (cause it is obvious who gets the most out of the “Knowles Clan”) ..and #3) to gain interest/respect for her as an “artist”. We see how that has worked out for her (smh)!!!
