FANTASTIC OR FOOLISH? Timberland’s Women’s Line

Almost everyone has owned (or currently owns) a pair of Timberland boots, either for the winter weather or for more fashionable purposes. However, the same company, known for their popular industrial shoe, has decided to launch a women’s line for the fall. Says Women’s Wear Daily,

Hitting stores in September, the women’s line will consist of 12 styles of boots and shoes incorporating organic canvas, Horween leathers and fabric details and ribbons. The collection, Timberland said, takes inspiration from the Great Depression and iconic faces of the era including Georgia O’Keefe and Rosie the Riveter. The styles will range in price from $170 to $340 and will be available at Timberland.com, as well as at selected retailers worldwide.

The shoe above is just a sample of the look the line is going for. Do you think it’ll be worth it, or should Timberland stick with all-weather wear?


Would you wear a dress made of peacock feathers?

How about a bathing suit made of crystals?

    I would not pay 170 for those at all – 170 is high for the starting price of that collection

    I think those r ugly ass hell. I definitely would not be stepping out with those on. Timberland’s women line get no cool points from me to actually think that any female in they right mind would put those on. They look like something Mary Poppins would wear back in the day with her umbrella. No, that is not a go for me.Timberland step ya female shoe game up.

    OMG No. And, i’ll clown the hell outta anyone I see sporting them ugly s**ts! Keep the damn 170 and find a better pair. But, let one celeb rock it, and you’ll see sheep/lemmings following suit.

    I think they are good looking shoes.They look like they are made well.They might be actually worth around 170.

    I know its a difference between what men and woman like.Any know about those mens dress shoes that are real pointy in the front that women find so irresistably sexy and men find utterly disgusting,but some guys where them to get women.I know we have different taste.

    I think people are looking at the price before anything which is smart.If you have a problem with the price the shoe probably wasnt designed for you.
