    Hi Kiyah:
I’ve recently decided to forgo relaxers and go au naturale. It’s like i’m learning my hair all over again. The products that were great on my relaxed hair aren’t necessarily working on my natural hair.

Normally, I straighten it with the blow dryer and flat iron. Can you suggest any products to get and keep it straight while keeping it moisturized?

I’d also like suggestions for wearing it curly. I purchased a great “curl relaxing mousse.” But it was only great while it was wet. When it dried, it made my hair feel dry and brittle.

    Thanks for your help.
    Rae

For a Year i was wearing weaves and braids off and on. The last thing i had was braids. When i took out my braids i notice how the fronts and temple part of my hair line where getting thin. So i refuse to where either braids or weaves at least until i can get my hair back right. I purchased Dr. Miracle’s Temple and Nape Grow Balm. I used it as it says on the contanier but i see not results and it also was my hair down. I think i have been using it for 2 months now. Should i continue to use it or do you recommend something else?
    Thank you so much,
    Angie

What is the best way the maintain New Deep Wave weave? I do not want to use moose because I hear that dries it out. Any suggestions? Also often I find a sore area in my scalp. I often find it when I’m getting my hair braiding or after taking the braids out months after when it has been braided. This is also the area where my hair was breaking off but has grown back. I am currently wearing my hair naturally.

I have recently started to strecth my relaxers. It was a great time to start since my money is running low and I have been budgeting. I love the idea of not having to go every 6-8wks for a relaxer. The first time I stretched it was a great experience! This time my hair seems to be a little more unruly this time. What is the best way to stretch a relaxer? How do you maintain the new growth after it has gotten a little unruly? Any tricks or helpful hints?

I’m a 31 year old female who has been battling what my family calls “growing dandruff” since I was little. I have been told so many different ways to either cure it or keep it under control but the suggestions seem to make it worst. Also my hair dries out really fast, like 2 or 3 days after its been professionally done. What do you suggest I do for this problem? Note: I would love to get my shoulder length hair back but I also like some short cuts too(I sound mixed up, don’t I)?!? lol

For years I was wearing my hair natural ( I have naturally curly hair) and I was extremely short. Well I have decided to let it grow out. Its not long enough for the cute long hair styles and it isn’t short enough for the cute curls. So What can I do with my transitioning hair that I don’t want to cut anymore?

    Hello Kiyah,
My hair is about two inches past my shoulders, and is permed, but it is becoming very thin. With all the different products on the market and each promise about the same results, what do you suggest to use. A chemical aide or a natural application. I need more strenght and fullness?
