Do the math. Do you devote as much time to the upkeep of your body and hair as you do taking care of your feet? Your answer should be yes, but sadly the answer for many is no. If you’re one of those women whose feet are begging for some tender loving care, you could pay the money for a pedicure or save the cash and do the job yourself by following these simple steps:

PAMPER your tired feet by soaking them in warm water for about 10 minutes which softens dry cuticles and calluses.

After you’ve soaked your feet, EXFOLIATE the loosened dead skin with a foot scrub.

Use nail scissors to TRIM overgrown nails. FILE down the rough edges of the nails that you’ve just trimmed.

While your feet are still wet, REMOVE the calluses from the heels and pads of your feet with a pumice stone.

Once you’ve removed all the dead skin, the last step is to MOISTURIZE your feet with an intensely rich cream. Tip: Get even more out of your do-it-at-home pedicure by doing an overnight moisturizing treatment – rub petrolatum jelly on your feet and wear socks to bed.
