I stopped putting those horrible “relaxers” in my hair years ago and my hair is finally back to what it was in my youth. Down the shoulders and thicker than ever!!! Now i wash condition and let her go. Might press it out but never again will I damage my locks w/ perms and too tight weaves!!!

I plan to watch this movie. But I went on a personal crusade many years ago. My goal is to have beautiful vibrant skin (sans makeup), and a healthy body inside and outside, and beautiful healthy hair (sans chemicals). It’s been great so far living a natural life inside and outside

exercise, diet, vitamins, and natural products (shea, baking soda, etc). are now my new best friends.

I’ve been natural for about eight months now. I think about how I’ve been getting perms for the last 13 years and I am only 20 years old. Isn’t it a little absurd for us to suffer through self inflicted burns to the scalp every six weeks to alter the essence of who we are. I say the more nappy the better. :) Love the video. Truly inspiring.

I loved this video. As I am in the middle of trying to decide if i want to be all natural or return to the relaxed look (i havent relaxed my hair in 4 months) this video helped me remember that natural can really be beautiful. Plus I love the song they are playing lol

I am loving it. I cut my hair about 8 years ago. No chemicals no straightening all natural. I love it. It is great to just get up and go!!!!! I love being 100% all natural black women right down to my own fingernails.:)

I cut off all of my relaxed hair 4 years ago so i am completely natural. I had been given a bad relaxer by a so-called licensed hair stylist who claimed she knew how to complete a virgin relaxer but she didn’t, $149 in services and products down the drain! That was the last straw for me! Now i save money that i used to spend in weaves and salon visits and i use that toward my kids’ college fund and investing in the stock market. Black Women, Wake Up! My hair is 10 times more healthier in its natural state than when i went broke caring for my relaxed hair.
