I still think Usher and Chilli were the “ideal” couple but what do I know! There could have been underlying issues that were irreconcilable on their parts. I like Usher (I’m a fan) for so many reasons. People knocked him about Tameka but I respect him for NOT being shallow. He married a woman that was “non-coventional” in his line of work. Not only did she have BAGGAGE but she didn’t look the part. Typically, it is expected that he go get a model, video hoe, or (puttin’ it plain & simple) a WHITE (non-black) girl like most of them do. However, because he did keep it “100″ he is criticized for it. Usher could have any woman he wants & he chose the “girl next door”. He gained my respect if anything because one thing you can’t call him is SHALLOW!
