GIRLFIGHT: Lil Kim vs Faith Evans

It seems like time does not heal all wounds, at least not for these two.  According to bossip.com, Faith Evans and Lil Kim ran in to each other over the weekend at the Diddy’s “White” Party and it was not all love.

Here’s what went down:

Lil Kim and Faith had a face-to-face encounter towards the close of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ coveted White Party in California, sources have reported. Faith and Kim, whom both shared a relationship with the Notorious B.I.G., crossed paths at the White Party, which was held in Los Angeles instead of The Hampton’s in New York. Sources said that Lil Kim took issue with her representation in Notorious, the biopic in which Faith was attached to. Faith was in attendance with her husband and Lil Kim was with producer Choke No Joke and to some, this augmented the tension.

“It was really heated,” one source said. “It was about to pop off…there was crazy screaming.” According to sources, Faith was saying, “I love you” to Lil Kim and Kim responded with “God bless you.” However, later at the event, Kim asked Faith, “How would you say you love me when you trashed me in your book?” Under anonymity, a source told AllHipHop.com “We know that [Faith saying 'I love you'] is bulls**t. It wasn’t even about the movie. It hurt Kim that she was being fake.” Actor Dennis Da Menace, who played D-Roc in “Notorious” and Devante Swing of Jodeci fame were able to prevent a potentially violent exchange
between Faith’s husband, Todd Russaw, and Choke No Joke. “At first it was cool, but then Dennis had to peace it out,” another source said. Russaw reportedly attempted to take pictures as Kim and Faith spoke peacefully, to which Choke took exception.

Choke expressed publicly that it was inappropriate to take pictures and charged that Russaw was intoxicated. Russaw was not available for comment on the allegation. Of the matter, Choke would only say, “Yes, I was there, but I don’t have nothing to do with it. Please leave me out of it.” Sean “Diddy” Combs was not at the location at the time of the incident. Despite the drama, Diddy managed to raise awareness for a charity, Malaria No More and his guests enjoyed their time, reports say.

    What ghetto termam I looking for, oh, jump off. Yes, jump off would be the term to describe Kim. But Big was married to who, Faith. So if Kim was his fav she was his fav f**k. she didn’t have his heart; that belonged to Faith. Kim to me is trash, was then, and will always be.There is no competion between them musically or other wise. Faith is a class act. Kim, well you can dress a chimp in glizty costum give it mic and put on any cd and you got Kim.

    I think that Lil’ Kim was lead on by Big. She felt they would get married. I don’t know if that is true but she loved the hell out of Biggie.

    Even though Faith is my cousin and I respect the quality of work she produces I have to give props to Little Kim for all the hard work she does to stay in the industry.

    One of my Aunts used to say, “Black men don’t marry dark skinned women.” My response to that was, “Then where did all these dark skinned people come from?”

    The unfortunate truth to that statement is historically and internationally, Blacks with European features tend to get better treatment.

    If Faith said she loved Kim, I believe that. To me it means she reconizes that they are sisters and they share each others pain in regards to the lost of a man they both loved.

    Biggie chose to bond with both of them and equally he chose to bond with his daughters mother as well. It seems dark or light, Biggie loved African American women, period…when he wasn’t calling hos anyway.

    It seems Kim might have been hurt deep by Biggie’s final matrimonial choice because over the years she’s physically transformed her self to look more like Faith.

    To Little Kim, I must say this…Stop it !
    Honey, be true to yourself. Don’t be like MJ and leave us wondering why you seemed to be unhappy with the skin you were in.

    We were the first women although history tries to make us the last. Believe Jah’s heart as it’s writen, “The last [is] will be the first.” Despite societal standards of beauty, Jah’s original model was the blackest berry with the sweetest juice.

    So Kim, if you read this, believe me when I tell you this…do not internalize the negativity or hateful words of these nasty ass men. Send all that mess to Jah. He’ll take care of them. If you love him, he’ll protect your honor as long as you also love yourself.

    Pic #10 of Faith was absolutely beautiful :). I really hope this is not true because Biggie was laid to rest over a decade ago & it is time to lay this “DRAMA” to rest! I like them both and wish them the best.

    I remember the good ol’ days when a jumpoff knew her place and how to keep it or move up the RIGHT way.

    Now they killing quarterbacks, writing tell-all books, attending televised awards shows, or trying to get top-billing?…what part of the game is that?!?!

    Sounds like a lot of ego hanging out at the “White Party”. Diddy really needs to spend more time at these jams. He could work the diplomacy easier, cause it’s his place and his show. People aren’t going to go looking for trouble with the host right there, that’s a sure fire way to reach the d- or the e-list, and never get invited over again.
