NEW ARTIST: Who Is Eva Simon?

Eva Simons, a new dutch recording artist on Virgin Records, is breaking into the entertainment industry; and shes doing it with a bang. She was spotted in London yesterday for the Collars and Cuffs Ball, to support the Battersea Foundation. She performed at the event, and hit the red carpet in a cat suit made of broken glass.

Many criticize Simon, calling her a Rihanna/Lady Gaga rip off, because of her loud eccentric style and rock & roll attitude.

So far, she seems pretty dope. What do you think?

    She seems more edgy than Rihanna to me, maybe close to lady gaga but what can I say, the music industry is a copy cat industry.

    Thats not copying lady gaga its copying rihanna’s disturbia…….. similar hairstyle and dancing if Im to make a choice to say eva simon is copying. The artists do not choreograph their own dance movements nor costumes its picked out for them…..especially the new artists.

    Pretty much a Lady Gaga/Rihanna clone. From the costumes and dancing to the Autotune. Hopefully she’ll revamp her style. Otherwise other than cute looks, she’s not really bringing anything new to pop music.
