Thick n Plus size are two different things. Diversity is not just about race when you grow up in communities where people are supposed to be a certain size. I’m a plus size woman myself and if i was taller than i am I’d be showing off all the latest designs by whoever in magazines because we’re fabulous, voluptuous and cant nobody feel how we feel. I’ma keep it 100 and admit yes, that as a plus size woman I know i need to get it together healthwise and i’m in the process in losing weight. and so far has lost 25 pounds. But I’m not going to be a “skinny minnie.” I’m losing enough to where I’ll still be in the plus size bracket and still be healthy. I’m healthy regardless! I have to agree these pictures do not show these plus size women in a good way. I don’t care for the poses myself. I will say that I have read some ignant posts on here. One can be plus sized and be healthy just like one can be skinny and be very sickly. If u don’t like thick women thats cool but that doesn’t give u the right to put anyone done and to do so means u really don’t have anything going on yourself. Anywho!! My thing about plus-sized clothing is the classy s**t is always EXPENSIVE!! In my area Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant has the classiest clothing but they come with a unattractive price tag unless you catch a sale and/or gotta a coupon or two handy! There are clothing stores in my area that has affordable plus-sized clothing but it’s trashy. It’s always that club hopping, belly hanging out, too short s**t that depending on how you carry your weight, you don’t need to wear it anyway! Except for Torrid, that’s another expensive ass store for plus-sized women but they ain’t cheap worth a damn and a lot of their clothing items are… controversial.

The other day me and my mom were talking about an issue we both have with clothes in general and that is it’s so hard to find a nice outfit to wear to church! She’s an older woman, obviously, but she’s not a big woman and she has just as hard of time finding nice church clothes as I do. Now I’ma young woman and I don’t want to go to church looking like I’m supposed to be in the Mother’s Corner but I don’t wanna look like I just left the damn club either! I find that when looking for church clothes the options are either a pant suit (which is a no-no for women at my church), a granny dressy with the line backer shoulder pads, or the hoochie outfit! What the hell is wrong with fashion these days or is this a regional issue? LOL!!

The dresses…not the prettiest. The model…not the prettiest. Her stance…WTF? I’m a fat woman. I’ve always been fat but I’m a healthy fat @ BURGERSTYLE82! Just because a person is fat doesn’t mean they have Type II diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. I have neither. Now I’m not saying I will never have the mentioned diseases but as for now I’m healthy as a skinny person. Also, all fat people aren’t fat because they eat 25/8 or eat unhealthy food. Most people are fat because they don’t know how to use portion control or don’t eat as often as they should. For instance, I use to eat only once a day. My nutritionist told me I was fat because I only ate once a day. My body stored the food I would eat as fat so it would have something to use for energy. I’d go a day or two without eating. My body was basically storing it because it didn’t know when I was going to eat again. Before you make comments about a topic, do research first. Thanks and have a blessed day!

With plus size they have to remember not everything looks good on plus size women. That last outfit does not flatter her at all, i think she needed black shoes so i blame the designer. Also, if folks wanna claim they plus size designers, then make it to fit plus size. Ecko, Mecca, Rocawear, Apple Bottoms, plus size clothing does not actually fit the average plus size woman, i wear 1x and if i find something i have to get a 3x to fit and look right.
