Well the pics at the top are bad because of hideous feathered clothes but if you check out her behind the scenes footage, I think there are a couple of cute outfits shown there. Either way I love Melanie as an artist and think maybe the stylist should be fired; it clearly was not Melanie’s fault. I can’t wait to buy her album :)

I didn’t even notice the horrible feather corset in the first pic because I was looking at her face… Lol.. I actually had to read the article to get why this photoshoot was horrible. So they are right [for once] at least her natural beauty shows!

i agree with hunnibunnz…her face is so beautiful that the outfit doesn’t even matter. she’s not tryna be ANTM y’all. recording artists tend to take lackluster photos anyway. why? because they’re not models! the average woman likely wouldn’t look all that great in a photoshoot with fly clothes on, let alone the clothes Melanie is wearing. yet somehow Melanie’s beauty takes over in this “lackluster” photoshoot. give the girl her props

Wtf are they hating on this beautiful and talented young lady. I saw her perform at the Rumba Room last month and she was hot ta def. (even more beautiful in person) Folks need to stop hating on this sista and a damn photo shoot, and use that time and energy to push the buzz of her new CD. She is definitely a refreshing force to be reckoned with. peace

The photos did look a bit amateurish, they could have used more creative lighting and her posing looks forced she looks tense instead of relaxed. Other than that she’s a hottie

I saw the pictures of Melanie Fiona in her photo shoot and unlike the people who commentted on what she was wearing I on the other hand could care less what she was wearing for the shoot. I was more focused on how sexy she is…smao.
