Damn this guy really has a problem with black women. I thought the commercial where he requested only fair skinned women was an insult to his race but this is coming out again. I am a black, african woman originally from Tanzania but i have really light skin and most people woudnt even tell that i am from Africa, but rather think of me as biracial. I feel insulted as a black woman and am sure as most black women would be too, to even hear that a black famous man would thing of us that way. I really hope that this is all a rumor because it would otherwise connote his disdain for his mother, his daughter(s) and the mothers of his children. There are many men like Diddy who have a deep insecurity about their own skin and roots because they themselves were teased or considered unattractive because of their skin color. This is especially true with dark-skinned black americans. It is very sad that black folks have done such psychological damage to each other that these are the types of lasting effects we see–adults who are very successful, but still bound by the issue of color.

IF he purposely selected these women for their skin tone/race, Diddy was discrimminatory and even though this event may have been private, I hope legal action can be taken against him. It is one thing to have a preference, but another thing to exclude a segment of people from an event because of something like this. Had this been a white person doing this to blacks, we would be up in arms about it. Why can’t we hold our own accountable?

…Again, I hpe these are just rumors, but if they are not, I suggest people stop supporting him.
