MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are getting married. They call the news “exciting,” but were still not sure how we feel about them as a couple.
Apparently, the buzz has been growing in industry circles for months, but the two have been trying to keep things under wraps until his divorce with Mashonda is finalized.
Earlier, pictures of the duo celebrating Alicia’s 29th birthday in Hawaii hit the internet, and she’s rocking a band on her left hand. Now, while we do suspect Swizz – a major producer – would have got her something a bit more overwhelming, we do think its a little suspect that she’d rock a ring on that finger. Celebs know we’re watching – so either it’s true or they’re just in need of some attention.

This is bananas! It’s true he isn’t divorced yet and they were sleeping together while he was married and she was still seeing that older guy. The guy who Alicia was with he was like 34 and she was like 22 when they got together he was her producer, built a studio for her the whole nine. I knew that wasn’t going to work out he was to old, that’s why If I am in my 30’s I am looking for a woman in my age range, I wouldn’t go younger, let them deal with men in their age range. Alicia is not the only nice looking woman on this planet.
I heard Roshanda live on the radio explain the situation and she sounded pretty cool about it. She said she even called Alicia to talk and Alicia didn’t call back. Smh @ Keys, she actually released a song called “Karma.” Maybe Karma doesn’t apply to her or Swizz, maybe they’re special – GTFOH! Marriage ain’t s**t nowawdays, relationships like this prove that. And NO, two people should never stay together for the sake of anything but at least be responsible enough to do the right thing before you bring someone else in your life…Keys, judging by her actions in this, more than likely isn’t going anywhere – women like her have the self-esteem of a rock. It’s not like she believes a good man is out there waiting for her the reason she chose to settle for one who was “legally” already taken. Take the time and get your divorce Swizz and if Keys is not there once your marriage has ended – then she wasn’t in it for you any way.

I am sorry to hear this rumor I really hope it’s not true. however, everyone has an opinion some people are happy for her and some people are not. either way it goes he is still married no matter how unhappy he is with his wife now. people should not make that as an excuse to move on and don’t close out that chapter. i know it is common to get married and than don’t get a divorce no matter if the woman won’t sign or not a divorce can still be done. it takes two to tangle and alicia i feel should have more respect for herself than to indulge in a married man affairs. Swiss and ALicia have known each other for a long time. They were friends before they were intimate. ppl kill me with the hate, im happy for her. No one ever thinks that maybe him and his ex were having problems and were not together. those things happen. when the love is gone ppl shouldnt stay because its morally right (so they say) or for the kids. Your not going to put your all in to something if its not working. if u are married u should be happy and in love with the person, you can alway love a person but to be in love and happy with that person is diffrent, they look happy, i dont wish anything bad on them or their relationship. I understand . people change and when u marry someone u think is one way and years later things arent the same and they arent who u thought they were. sometimes its best to move on.
