The film documenting the final weeks of Michael Jackson’s life as he prepared for his comeback tour, will be released by Sony worldwide on October 28th – that’s two days earlier than originally planned – but will only run for two weeks in theaters.Titled “This Is It,” the movie is described as being an “intimate portrait of Michael Jackson as you’ve never seen him before,” and will showcase the King of Pop as he rehearsed and prepared for his upcoming concerts.
Tickets for the movie will go on sale September 27, more than a month before the movie even opens.
