There was no excuse for Kanye’s actions; regardless, of whose thunder he stole. It was not his decision on which artist should of won the award, it was America’s. I was not a fan of his before, I definintly am not a fan of his now. The sad part is, he will be touring with Lady GaGa whom I would love to see, but would not even consider buying tickets due to his presence at her show. It will be a long time before I give air play, royalties or even a nod of recognition to that sap!

Only one other star in the history of awards has done that, and that is when ODB (rest in peace) interrupted Shawn Colvin’s award speech to declaire that “wutang is for the kids!” because she had beat them out in that category. We all knew that ODB wasn’t sober or as intelligent as Kanye, so it is easier to forgive ignorance than arrogance!

Kanye has changed over the past couple of years and I understand that money can make you brand new, however, his actions – totally disrespectful and embarassing. I don’t care who it was on stage receiving an award nobody has the right to do what he did. He knows better. Personally, our celeb’s play the media and us like Don King, it’s about the money, popularity or controversy. If it attracts attention lets do it.
