I will be the first to admit that i don’t really care for alicia’s music. I feel that she is overrated and most of her junk sounds so similar that if you own one album of hers you have heard her whole body of work. I dont know why this woman can fart in the recording booth and win a grammy for it while so many other talented singers go ignored, but it is what it is. To me, she screms and sings through her nasal passage, but she does give back to the community and she does do charity work for HIV/AIDS awarebess, and for girls in AFrica, so i respect her for that.

I think Miss Keys handled this interview perfectly. We all know how words can be blown waaay OUT OF PROPORTION on and off the record! I can appreciate her work and admire/respect her as an artist. First of all I don’t even know either one of those women so I couldn’t even begin to try to assassinate their characters in the way that many are doing. I think Alicia Keys answered the question well during the interview and Lil Mama did not belong on the stage during the performance. Lil Mama apologized so let us all move on to something worth while to talk about. Too be honest that was one of the highlights of the whole VMAs. Does it make it right no it doesn’t. I love the way she handled the interview. She could’ve gotten rude but the is not the way she handles things. About her and Swizz, noone knows how it happened, just like noone went on in Swizz and Mashonda marriage. We wouldn’t know if they were having problems way before he started seeing Alicia. We only see what is in the Media, other things are let private. The reason the Media is talking about Swizz and Alicia like this is because, Alicia likes to keep a low profile and doesn’t go to all the places that the paparazzi are hanging at. Quite frankly, I didn’t see what the fuss was about. Although I am not a Lil Mama fan, what was her purpose or the major damage done? She was on stage less than a minute and really made herself look badly because neither of them acknowledged her. And at this stage of her career it was just a bad move, especially when she couldn’t contribute. As for the Swizz Beatz situation, I don’t understand why people don’t leave married men alone.
