i agree with everyone who has responded to grim’s comment. what does bet have to do with this??? i dont think it does. as far as bet not doing anything to motivate the community i think you need to watch some shows. i am 21 years old and shows like 106 & park may be there for entertainment purposes, they do cover many topics from pregnancy to aids and so forth. it just seems like you have a problem with the black race and that is something only you can deal with. god bless you.

I agree with Grimes. BET is foolishness and needs to be removed from the air. It promotes ignorance among our people and shows NOTHING of worth.

I typed a load of comments only to erase it, I’m computer illiterate so I’ll try to get this right. First, I’m in agreement when I say what does BET have to do with this? As a black person, why would you want to take one of the only networks we have devoted to our kind off the air? If the programming bothers you, why not write the network and try to have it changed instead of taking the whole network off the air. If you wanna boycott a station start with VH1, if I have to watch another washed up celebrity try to find love by kissing, fondling and more than likely screwing random folks they won’t even end up spending the rest of their lives with I’m gonna scream. Second, LOL PokherFace & AisileeDotCom, I too had difficulty trying to comprehend with grim was saying and I doubt if I do but I refuse to try. first and formost people need to realize that BET is not a black own network anymore(since2007) the same owner of MTV&Vh1 owns BET now. with that being said they don’t care how are people embarrass themselves. its design for us to watch Stupidity and get are children to act in this manner. but i cant say all of their shows are like that but 60% of the are. so just think about that.
