Beyonce is drop dead gorgeous. Her songs are monotonous and her moves are not nearly as good as Janet, Miss Jackson if your nasty, but Beyonce is drop dead gorgeous. In America, you don’t have to know how to sing, you just have to be drop dead gorgeous and pacify the Drag Queens. Beyonce is not nearly as talented as Madonna or Janet Jackson, but the Drag Queens love her and that is all that counts. She is truly the current ultimate performer. I watch to many talents hide behind special Fx in videos she shows us that here gift to perform is the real deal. I am a hater of her voice and her shape is funny to me but, the talent is poetry… I could only hope to develop one of my students to have her work ethic.

The latest exception is “Halo” and even that was still pretty boring as a video. Her co-star is the real reason we ladies even watched it.

They really digitally enhance videos. Bey is a beautiful sister but if you go back and look at the Behind The Scenes: Making of “Street” Dreams. Pay attention to Bey at the 2:00 mark. What she looks like there and about the 1:30 mark in the actually video is NOT the same. Her waist is ALOT slimmer. Song is hot and sounds great in the clubs. It’ll easily go top 5 on the dance charts. It’s a dancey/pop sounding song, so I don’t know if urban radio will really play it.

The video is so-so. I personally would’ve gone with a futuristic spin on the story of Cinderella. She and her creative team could’ve kept the dancing, but added a storyline to the video, to make it truly match the song.

Trina did a freestyle on a mixtape to this song that is dope as hell. It may be wise for Beyonce’s label to do a remix and new video to Sweet Dreams, and add Trina’s freestyle to the song . . or get her to kick some new verses to this.

Having said that, Beyonce proves once again why she’s a “triple-threat” artist. She can sing. She can dance. And she’s a great live peformer. You can count on one, maybe two hands, how many singers/entertainers can do all three at a high level.

Personally, all I seen in the video was her dancing. Yes, we can see that you can dance, but can you do some other moves? Come on now!!! Get another dance instructor that is willing to push you “out of the box.”
It’s time to give your career a break. Maybe come back in three to five years later. Maybe have some children, enjoy being a wife. Whatever, you decided to do, just take a break. Than when you do come back, hopefully, you will have songs with a meaning!!!!!!

I am just a little over the “dancing” videos. I am a true B fan, but the videos lately have all been the same. Don’t get me wrong she is doing her thang! I want to see something new though. But I can honestly say she is different, B almost remindes you of a female version of Michael Jackson, she’s different, unique, and a trend setter much like MJ was. So this one is a NOT for me. ~Sorry B~

Actually I like this one and I’m not really a Beyonce fan. I’m glad that she’s more clothed in this video than the last few. I’m really tired of seeing her in swimsuits. She’s beautiful and supposed to be a fashionista so I prefer to see her in different styles. Now the dancing was really nice. If the song is about a dream/nightmare then the dancing is pretty much on point with the jerky movement but I think the artistic vision could have taken from Salvadore Dali and REALLY looked like a dream/nightmare. Still, I like this a whole lot better than EGO.

This song is absoulety WACK to the upmost. This song reminds of her stealing a slow song from Effie White and remaking it to this bulls___. She is another one who is allowing things to get to her head. She needs to transform her ass back to Beyonce from Sasha Fierce. Shasha is going to be a big downfall from Beyonce.

I think it will be a good crossover song. She is trying to appeal to a wider audience with this song. She is so sexy and she knows how to use it. Whether the video has to anything to do with the song or not, that Tina Turner strut really works for her. I say thumbs up.
