I knew it. i had a feeling the show was going to end soon. i use to watch her show, but for some reason couldn’t get into it anymore this last season. i knew that when they took her show off of CBS and put it on the CW, that it would get canceled. cuz that is what the CW does, they cancel all of the black shows. Black shows need not go to see CW if they want there shows to survive.

Tyra I’ve watched your show and at times even though the subject matter wasn’t my cup of tea, I still could not take my eyes off of you!(Loved it!!), You light up my whole living room and there were times when i would call friends and say man turn on Tyra and just take a look…….umhh! (you are inspiring) not just to women, not just to black women,but you make a man want to get his $#!! together so he can have someone(rare) like you.You showed “pretty women” how to be “beautiful”(Thank you).Who else was qualified? (not many) I dream of meeting you one day just to see you in person and thank you for showing me how to take what i’ve got and make it even better.
I Know it must be rough for you to let go of something that was so successful.But the best has yet too come. PEACE!

Tyra, I for one will really miss you on television. You not only inspired young women, but you also inspired real men like myself to be good men to our women. I’ve watched you since you’ve been on television. I think that you are an awesome person and I thank God that we still have people like you that actually care about others. Tyra Banks is very inspiring…she has accomplished so much in her life and is now paying it forward. We need shows like Tyra and Oprha…They are stepping stones and opening doors for us. Tyra show is entertaining and informative. She accepts all types of people and all types of beauty. Most of all Tyra is as real as they come. She is not afraid to tell you about her weave, or discuss her weight gain. She has nothing to hide and lets you know it. That is what a real woman does. She is and has done big things… She’s been all around the world and had intertwined with many types of people.
We have to let go of our ghetto mentality, that black people have to be one way only. Most black folks are multi faceted. We have to support people like Oprah, Tyra, BET, and any other black person or balck network that is making us visible to the magazines/television/movies. A few decades ago black folks couldnt get a decent role or a show to save thier life, now it is possible for us to have a show, with longevity and great ratings. They are doing great things with thier money to support black people as well.
If we don’t believe and support each other, who will?

The news of Tyra’s show end is the best news I’ve heard in a long, long time. The Tyra Show focused on vacuous topics, and the topics that had substance were not showcased properly because of Tyra’s lack of interviewing prowess. Her incessant insistence on hypocritical promotion of self-love was so transparent. How can you preach self-love while donning 10 tons of fake hair, a gallon of make-up, and the most technological advanced body shapers known to mankind. This is the also the same woman who told the world to “Kiss her big, fat, black behind”, and espousing her ardent love for her curves; and yet, the minute the opportunity arose for her to lose the excessive weight, she jumped on it, losing 35 pounds to regain her modelesque figure. What a phony baloney! Although I have never watched the Wendy Williams Show, and I have no intentions of watching it, the scuttlebutt is that when Wendy Williams came to FOX, Tyra’s demise was written on the wall. Good I stopped watching her show a long time ago. She is good when she sticks to what sho knows… fashion modeling and hell that’s it.
