Hello, everyone…I hope all of you are well. I really don’t mean to get off the subject, but I just have to say this…I’m so frustrated with our young black female professionals-particularly in the entertainment business. I Don’t mean to be a prude-but, it is beyond me why these young “ladies” who have everything going for them-success,fame, wealthy, educated, talented and so much more-get involved with “men” who are far below them in stature and in life in general…why do they willingly pick other’s women’s men, have sex and have babies with men who obviously have no respect for them-because, If they did they wouldn’t look for a female to “service” them outside of marriage in the first place. I’m a 51 year old woman living on SSDI and you couldn’t PAY me to be involved with men such as these. I guess that these guys are in agreement with the old saying “why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?” Although many performers are of the opinion that learning to be of good character is the parents’ job- however I strongly feel and fear the images that Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Amber Rose, Alisha Keys and other Black female artists’ and the behavior they display WILL be imitated by young girls of ANY race. Whether one likes it or not, children are going to copy the behavior that they are subjected to. Add to this-I was flabberghasted to learn that Fantasia was able to get her own television show. The child has a baby out of wedlock-is involved with someone’s husband and some of everything else… it seems to me that our society is not only accepting it but CELEBRATING it!! Fantasia is most certainly NOT a role model for our young sisters. PERIOD.
