I disagree that you have to be “POOR” to put together a worthy cross-over product, you just have to be good! Meagan Good has a nice sound, but, it isn’t a unique one. If I were a dj, she’d be lumped with all of the other R&B artists who have the same sound. Her attempting to cross-over from acting to singing is no different from the singers who cross-over to acting. Some are EXCELLENT, including, but, not limited to recording artists like Jamie Foxx, Dana Owens (Queen Latifah), Chris Brown, Will Smith and Tyrese. However, there are some who are better at concentrating on one media of entertainment and there are still others who should see if State Farm or the USPS is hiring!

For us real singers, like me who have spent our lives honing our skills, discovering who we are through our artistry, and trying to get studio time, making our own home studios because we cannot afford to be at Boom Boom Room on our own, this is super duper trash.
