OK, that lady is crazy first of all for having 14 kids with no father, no job, and no stable support. not to mention she lives in a 3 bedroom apartment that i think she just got evicted out of. I think that you have to be on some illegal narcodic medication even to consider getting pregnant again. Reality gives us the fact that she has no means of any kind of benefits to take care of the first six. Now, all of a sudden you want to have 8 more. She has got to be, without a doubt, the only person without a brain. I have four children of my own,between the ages of 3 and 12, and it’s hard to take care of them with me and the Mrs. She is all by herself. The chances of a woman who has been steril for 7 years and then having another 8 kids was suuuper slim to none. I think that this situation could of been handled better, What I judge this women is on her stupidity. She seems to have some mental issues that surface with her stupidity. She wasn’t a young mother, it was not accident, and yes she had no income. As a grown woman I could never make the desicion to have 8 babies, and six more at home while you had no income and no father makes you stupid. I could understand if it was accident, but in this situation it seems like stupidity. I dont think anyone wants to pay for a anyone stupid mistakes. She has shown her own stupidity. Social services is already backed up with many foster children and orphans but I think they need to step in and take these children because she seems to be an unfit mother. this woman is really retatrded. why after 6 kids when she had no income would she even want add one more? one child cost 30,000 dollars to raise already for the basics. Is she selling drugs or something to afford 6 kids, i know her child support cant be the only thing that she can afford things with. she has to be doing more to make some extra cash under the table. I have had 4 kids and i have no income and i sure cant afford to take care of them so one doesnt live with me and thank god for supportive babys daddys. The choice that she made to have 6 of her embryos implanted was not smart but at the same time according to her she wasn’t palnning on having 8 babies. Those two are the only ones I have. I went from being a single mom to a college grad, a professional and getting my masters. Her momma should have put her foot down a long time ago.

She should have made her get pay rent (and served her with an eviction notice if she was late), pay daycare expenses, made her catch a bus (yes my momma made me catch the bus with those babies year round), buy diapers, buy milk etc. She should have made her walk with those babies at 2am like I had to. She wants 14 babies under the age of 8, she should have to bounce them.

Just sad that if she had been made to bounce all 6 babies at the same time without help, maybe she would have made a better choice.

Ok Nadya…girl stop! You were talking more to the camera in the second interview thatn you were to your own mother. This woman point blank is irresponsible. Last time I checked, In-Vitro is an expensive procedure, even for 1 embryo. Which means that you were using the money from your disabled children to get this procedure. Honestly, I think social services needs to investigate this woman for misuse of funds, because as you can see it damn sure ain’t going to her kids.

I don’t think its the fact that she had the children I think it’s the fact that she had children she can’t afford which I think is a very selfish act on her part. God had already blessed her with more than enough. Honestly, watching and hearing about this lady upsets me to the core. I feel that children are a beautiful and precious thing to have, but if you do not have the income (and know you do not have it), why the hell have children? What did she think that after having these kids, she was going to have a spin off t.v. show like 17 and counting (on TLC)? I also blame the doctor because whenever a person decides to have an invito (sorry if its spelled wrong), 2 is only to be inserted in case one dies. I wonder how was she even able to afford the procedure anyway? Doesn’t it cost about 30 grand per embryo? I feel that either way, the money will be coming out of our pockets to take care of them. When her children were in the hospital, who do you think were paying for their stay? Damn sure not her broke ass. The Answer is US, taxpayers!

Solution:
1. Doctors either stop the pregnancy, especially if they know about her status
(can’t afford to take care of them)
2. Specialists for this procedure should research information about their clients before giving them embryos. If the doctor researched, she would have known that she already had 6 kids by the same procedure.
P.S: To the people who had a big family and everything worked out well, regardless of hard bumps along the way, think about this: She is a single parent whose grandma is mostly taking care of the kids. I bet in your households your parent(s) had support from others (ex: husband, friends and family members).

I do believe that the eight babies should be taken away from here because she does’nt have space for them. I think what happened was she wanted the fame and to be talked about and get help but it backfired on her. She is getting the attention she wantes but its negative towards her. Man, as many single black women that are out here, with multiple kids from multiple men that are making it on the system, it kind of surprises me to see black folks (who get accused of working the system the most) saying this woman should have her kids taken away. yeah this isn’t back in the day. but I have successfully raised 9 children, not on the system. without a job. My baby is now 17 and will be out the house in 2 years. It takes know how and budgeting. I have been criticized about not having a job even from my ex who said I was just plum lazy. Try cooking and getting a house clean for 9 kids. Or better yet ironing all they clothes and teaching them to cook palatable food and and getting homework done. And I homeschooled my children. One is in the air force. ones going into the marines. one is in college for psychology. It’s all according to how you apply yourself and train your children. My children get along with whatever happens. And I moved to 7 different cities in their lifetime with me. And it wasn’t military. It was scientific. It can be done. You just gotta know how to do it. And I got 30 bucks child support for each child. You learn and you can do it.

Frist and foremost children are a blessing. Second of all it cant be onsidered nosey whenhe is choosing to go on television and website to tell us why and what she did. Its no different than if someone places thier personal business on a billboard. Are we expected not to read it? I think not. Third, we have no real idea if it was intentional to have this many children from the embryos or if it happened by an act of nature. We only assume that she did this for publicity. Fourth regardless she ( as well as others) have to take responsiblty for thier actions. If she already had six small children and living with her mom, is it really fair that she had more. Rather it be one or eight. She couldnt stand on her own with what she had and now her parents who already raised thier child, have to raise fourteen more! She didnt realize the results of her actions. I think that is the biggest problem of all.

People are quick to say “Oh it is none of my (our) business”. HOWEVER, “indirectly” it is ALL of our business!!! We are in a recession and the government is cutting excess funding for academic programs, childcare and even certain health care. I think Nadya is crazy. Her children should be taken from her and placed with families and people who can truly support them. she’s not the only person i know with more than 10 children and no visible means of income. i know a girl with 13 and one with 8 and neither one of them work anywhere. the thing with nadya is that her octuplets are premature and will probably have health problems. it will be difficult to say the least, but i have no ill feelings toward the mother. someone should check into the doctor(s) who helped her become pregnant all the times before. i thought that you had to undergo some sort of medical and psychological evaluations before you can get in-vitro or whatever she had done. its just like ppl with too much unnecessary plastic surgery, some doctors don’t care if a person doesn’t need it, they give it to them anyway as long as the check clears.

She is looking for the government and society to take care of them, and with the economy being strapped as it is and the average family having difficult times. How is society going to help this woman? I feel she did it for free handouts and I am glad that Children Services has stepped. The mother is already trying to keep her house from being forclosed on and her daughter expects her to just be there. Wrong answer, she needs to grow up and wake up. WELL….Its not like my opinion is anything to live by…And Im not gonna play judge or jury on this one! But My opinion on this one is….I feel that Nadya is the sole problem here, she has an addiction, or a desprate or psycological need for love, and attention! Im not gonna judge her ability to be a great & loving mother…. I have one child, and I know the love for that one is enormous, so I cant question ing her ability too love each of these children! But what I do question is her mental capability to handle the stress of 14 kids, and her ability to make logical, and responsible decisions for herself, which in the long run effect her children. But thats an issue in itself…But on the other side….Are her enablers…Her family, and most importantly her doctor. I come from a family where we are each others responsilbilty, if they see us going down the wrong path or see us doing somthing that isnt good for us, our children or future…The intervene…Call it medeling or whatever, but her family saw what road sh was going after baby #4, 5, and even 6…And they ignored the signs of a growing issue within their child….And most importantly her doctor. I understand that he has a loyalty to his patient, but he also has a loyalty to his patient to make wise and logical decisions based on her physical and mental health….And he didnt…and even though Nadya made the decision to implant the 6 embryos, with either 3 posibilities, none of the eggs implanting, only a few or just one egg successfully implanted, or all six implanted succesfully….The doctor should have said NO…Its unhealthy for u, it could be a dangerous or tramatic for the babies, on point blank period ur not finacially equipped to handle the 6 u have…So there’s more than 1 complete party here to place the blame, so between those parties…Someone needs to figure out how to manage the situation!

1) If you don’t live in California then you shouldn’t worry about your tax money going to her.

I beg to differ. I’m not on any type of government assistance. I can’t even get financial aid for school I make to much and don’t have any kids. No section 8. So I pay market rent and I pay more taxes than a person making 100grand a year and don’t get anything back at the end of the year. A part of my tax dollars will go to her because part of your federal tax dollars got to medicare/medicaid! Oh something else I’m not eligible for! Each state manages their own medicaid system but they all pull their money from the same pool. Who’s paying for those whopping medical bills for 14 kids not her! No one said anybody is perfect the only man that was perfect doesn’t walk the earth any more!
Sometimes people create situations and that is what she did intentionally. I think she was trying to get a payday but it blew up in her face!

this is my thinking..she walked into this situation knowing that there was a chance that she could have all 8 of those babies…no one forced her to do it, she wanted to. So it’s her business.
