BC2001, I read your comments and I understand what you are saying but that is a two-way street. Brothers say sisters are too argumentative, have too much attitude, etc. You even typed, “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” well at least she let her husband LIVE in that movie. She even nursed his cheating, ugly behind and his “dime” wanted to let him die.

Too many of our beautiful black men don’t appreciate the beauty, support, love and loyalty of beautiful sisters. Been around booty all their lives but let a woman of another race come around with a “hint of some booty” and brothers act like they’ve never seen one before.

My heart goes out to Mechelle and Steve’s sons. It is obvious he didn’t have a good judge of character and lack integrity. He didn’t deserve to lose his life but HE dated this girl…he couldn’t have known that she’d put 4 slugs in him and kill herself. I can’t imagine how Mechelle feels. I am sure she loved her husband and grieves his death but I am sure she is hurt and devastated by the circ**stances surrounding his death. Then on top of that the WORLD knows it and she probably embarrassed too.

If one can be committed to their vows and family, DON’T get married and mess up the children lives. I can’t imagine what his sons are thinking. May God turn their mourning to dancing and their sorrow to joy.
