Madea Returns To The Stage!

Just three weeks after the passing of his mother, Tyler Perry is planning on hitting the road with a new play.

After five years of refraining from the stage, and after producing and starring in several films featuring Madea, Tyler Perry is bringing his signature character back to the theater in a new production set to tour in 2010.

The entertainment mogul posted a message on his Web site Saturday that said he had taken some time off in the past few months “so I could spend my mother’s final days at her side.”

Perry says he will begin touring with his new play, “Madea’s Big Happy Family,” on Jan. 4 in El Paso, Texas. The first leg then goes on to Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle and Portland, Oregon, reports the Associated Press. Other locations and dates will be announced.

    i am really glad you are back, because your plays and movies. they brought me so much joy and understanding in my life, especially when it comes to how to deal with relationships. like the message to me as a female, if a man do not loves you, the way you suppose to be love. then you got to let him go, and if a man cheats on you, then he was not yours in the first place, he was someone else’s. i just want to know, do u have a singing part for me or a speaking part for me? cause, i need to be on that same boat with you tyler perry. god bless you in everything that you do. cause, one day i will be right on that stage with you. tyler perry or crew members if your listening go to utube.com and look up how to broadcast your own video. then go to kim’s no more rain. you will see me singing, i always wanted to be a star. and i aint a shame to be heard neither. happy holidays to ya!!!! my email is akimberlynn@yahoo.com if you want to holla at me.
