Guess those Grey’s Anatomy checks were really paying off! According to recent reports, the television star has fallen behind – WAY behind – on his $20,000 a month rent, and has gotten an eviction notice. Says the Huffington Post,

Isaiah Washington’s landlord has started an eviction procedure against the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star, claiming he owes $100,000 in rent.

Documents filed in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday claim that Washington and his wife have fallen behind on their $20,000 a month payments on a home in the Venice area of Los Angeles.

The complaint filed by Sandalwood Properties states the Washingtons have not paid rent since November.

Ouch!

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time a star has fallen behind on rent. Fantasia and T-Boz have been down that road, too!

See that’s when you know you aint living smart. Had I been an actor, I would took that first season worth of checks and bought a house with it. I think for prime time shows on the major networks the actors make bare minimum around 100,000 an episode. A season is usually 22-26 episodes so do the math on that one. I would bought me a house completely paid for with that first season money.

Actors and athletes never seem to think ahead. When you first become a star its not a good i idea to live like a star right then. Sight a 50 million dollar rookie contract ( after taxes and agent fees you might come away with 25-30) buy a 1 million dollar house. Paid in full. Make 2.6 million form a top tv show 100,000 times 26 episodes, buy you a 350,000 house. Paid in full and you’ll be good to go, wont have to worry about getting kicked out.
