Is RHOA Kandi Replacing Paula On Idol?

We’re hearing that ATL housewife Kandi Burruss may be replacing Paula Abdul on American Idol.  Abdul announced she was leaving the show yesterday via twitter.

Here’s Paula’s tweet:

With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all..

I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent,but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon.

What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me

It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month

I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all

Kandi would be perfect as she is a singer/songwriter.

    Her reason for leaving is supposed to surround $money$. Paula “allegedly” requested 12 million per season and was denied. Simon and even Ryan are receiving more money so rightfully so Paula should to. She is a significant part of the show and will be missed. It has been said that her fellow judges do not want her to go. If all goes well maybe they will go into negotiations over her contract and give her the money she is asking for. If not, she better take the 10 and run with it…1 bird in a hand beats 2 in a bush. She has a side hustle doing jewelry for HSN but nowhere near the profit she stands to make in the upcoming years with American Idol. Especially at the state of this economy. Furthermore, what else is Paula Abdul gonna do *throwing hands up*?!?
