Each decade has had its own style. In the in the 60s and 70s was big fro time… Here in the 2000 somethings all teenage girls of all races are into long straight hair. All little girls love to play with long hair. The designer gave the option to spritz and go curly what little girl isnt gona love that. You want a doll that the girls nowadays can identify with. In there time frame and fads and styles. The dolls are not hoochie, they are dressed like teenagers. I dont see halter tops, boobs and butt hangen out. They dress like your average typical American in any race teen. I am a white woman obviously. And mind you very very ivory. Sunburn… then fade back to ivory. Cant tan for the life of me. I have always admired women of color… Such very beautiful skin. I was not your typical white Barbie either. I had a big butt and average boobs and was a curly headed brunette. But I realized Barbie… was an individual, just 1 white girl. Not all us white girls. This is a beautiful beginning, and with all the input and sugestions there will be more styles and diversity to come. Im sure.
