My friend texted me to say Michael Jackson is dead! I was like ‘Oh here we go with the rumour stuff.’ Turned on the tv and BAM! there is was. I couldn’t believe it. Michael Jackson dead. MICHAEL JACKSON dead. Watched all I could about it on tv and went to bed. Got up the next morning and was thinking I had dreamed it all. But…turned on the tv again and there it was again. No matter what low points Michael had in his life, he was a MEGA STAR!!! He did things in music no one will EVER match. He will be miss and he will never be replaced. R.I.P Micheal Jackson, We will always miss you.

I couldn’t believe it myself because it was sort of tabloidish the way they first began to present it. Well, he is gone. I grew up in this era, this is weighing hard on me. MJ contributed so many good things to children and to many causes. His legacy will live on.

While I too am saddened (I loved his music and him too) by MJ’s demise, I find too many people have placed too much of their lives in celebrity. While Michael was a man and an icon, I am sure (personally) he never would have wanted people to place so much emphasis on his death.

Mike was a child in a world of adults and we were lucky to have him, his music and his influences but life goes on. I must admit, growing up with Michael and seeing him evolve… he was the most ”humble” Global Mega Star that ever lived. He lived peaceably & now he rests in peace…this world was too small for him…”He outgrew us all”, now he’s with the highest of all, ”Our Lord & Savior” & resting eternally as his job here was done. I know he knew it; in his last public statement, there was something about his msg. he said, ”this is the final curtain call”…He looked like he was hurting & just tired. Let us thank god we had him for the time we did. I never met him…my 2 daughters were blessed enough to attend the ”SuperBowl” & meet him, that too was unbelievable…I told those girls they were lying when they handed me their trip slips to sign to attend. I don’t blame him for spending the way he did, have you ever known anyone to die & take anything with them??? And so it is written…they had better ask somebody. My daughters also were given ”Demoral” at one time; they both suffered ”seizures”…I wish people would watch over their love ones when they are under medical care. Michael may have been more than 400 million in debt…i’m sure he figured ”i’m going to ride this one out”, & he did. But in the end, god knew best! Isn’t it funny? ”he’s resting & still making money” & this will be for many years to come. History has a way of telling many stories in repetition…after Elvis, I could see Michael’s life going in the same direction first with his world-wide popularity. My dad use to say, ”you can’t get too big in this world”.There’s no room on top. R.I.P. he was the greatest man I knew. Michael’s children will be just fine…his mom & family will see to that! And now, with his passing, leaves a HUGE void out there that needs to be filled again, but will never be. His passing does leaves some GIANT sized shoes to be filled, as there will NEVER be another one like Micheal.
